Disappointing and misleading tour – tour did not match tour description

The listing stated that the tour would run for approximately 3 hours and include the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St Peter’s Basilica. In reality, the guided component lasted around 1 hour, which was significantly shorter than advertised. In addition, some of the advertised tour components were not covered, resulting in us not having the correct tickets for all areas. Consequently, we were required to wait in line for over one hour to purchase additional tickets in order to access parts of St Peter’s Basilica. This completely defeated the purpose of booking a guided, skip-the-line experience. The tour was misleading compared to the description provided at the time of booking, and had this been accurately represented, we would have chosen a different tour provider. Given the price and the inaccurate listing, this experience was extremely disappointing - I would not recommend this tour.

Im very upset Mr Michael. You did guided Tour, you did skip the line in this high season (xmas) , you did skip the line into st peter's basilica. After that you demand me on WhatsApp i need to do doom tickets. I already described doom is not included this tour, so far you demand me i need to refund you €30 refund. Because of your satisfaction did refund €30 .After this situation you are not satisfied so what can I do ? We just say sorry next time we do better. Thanks

This is very high season. (Christmas). So far we trying provide our best service . We always work highly professional Guide. Yes sometimes ( on Christmas) tour doesn't go Basilica, on that case we inform our clients before tours. Thanks again

Overpriced for what you get

Honestly this tour was not worth the money. The skip the line ticket entrance was actually like $30 USD per person for the museum and sistine chapel. Everything else was payment for tour and fees im guessing. However, you don’t really get much interesting info from the tour and since it is so crowded inside, having such a big group only made it worse. In our case, apparently the st peter’s basilica was “suddenly” closed for the day, we couldn’t even go. No body told us prior to the day, we were informed at the meeting point. When I reached out to request a partial refund, the contact tour person said he tried contacting me but there was no response. Mind you, he could’ve sent a message through this same app or even texted on whatsapp, introducing himself and explaining why he was reaching out, but he didn’t. Instead, he called me several times in the morning through whatsapp and of course, I did not answer to a random man I don’t know, calling me while I was sleeping. On a positive note, I got my partial refund fairly quick which was $30. Overall, I honestly didn’t think it was worth it. Even if we would’ve gone to the basilica, it would’ve still been overpriced since the basilica entrance was free.

Im sorry for inconvenience situation. Because this day suddenly st peter's basilica was closed, that's why people can't get in . For this reason we already make a call before entry, unfortunately we couldn't reach you. After that we already make partial refund which you will receive after 3 working days. Hope you understand. Be ready to expect crowded, it would be better to have more time or pauses. In order to view the museum, also consider that for seniors going to fast it's hard, and suggest not allow children under 6 years

Alex was a great tour guide for the Vatican museum. He was incredibly knowledgeable and kept the group on track on a very busy day. There are so many amazing works of art In the museum, I would have never been able to focus on the most important works of art without a guide. The St. Peter Cathedral was not included in the tour due to the Jubilee (I visited in March 2025) but could still visit it on my own. Worth the extra time

The key experience that drew me to this particular experience was the opportunity to visit the papal tombs and our tour never did visit this area. Nonetheless, the experience of visiting even a small portion of the Vatican Museum was an amazing experience that should not be missed.
