- The Borghese gallery has a strict visitor policy to protect its artworks. Only small fanny packs and purses (max 21 x 15 cm) are allowed in the museum. Larger bags/personal items must be left in the wardrobe.

Outstanding from beginning ! Convenient meeting place and very efficient check in with tour guide. Elle was our tour guide and she was fantastic - she was an expert on all things Borgehse and talented in the way she wove history with the art. She ensured we made the most of our full time in the museum. Definitely recommend this tour.

Disappointing and frustrating. Guide didn’t show up. Since the gallery can only be entered with timed tickets which the guide would have had, none of the group waiting on him/her could experience the museum. Although Viator did quickly refund our cost of the tour, they did not refund the money that we spent (45 euro) to travel to/from the gallery for the non-event (although we asked them too). Viator should have confirmed the tour with the provider and contacted us if cancelled. Most disappointing was that since it was our last day in Rome, there was no way to reschedule. Lots of wasted time and money.

Tour operator did show up for the tour. Tour operator claimed that Viator did not communicate with tour operator. Significant time and travel expense wasted.

Dimitri was engaging, entertaining and informative. A lot to cover but the 2 hours really did pass quickly. Definitely recommend as a tour for the Borghese Villa.

Meeting point on Maps shows further away from the actual galleria, but I was still able to find the check in fairly easily. Guide was very knowledgable and thorough in sharing historical information. Glad I booked a guided tour rather than an individual general entry. Museum only allows you to visit for 2 hours, and our guide filled the full time well.
