A deep dive into Roman history delivered by a passionate guide

This private tour was an island of knowledge amongst the ocean of people. Our guide Andrada took us into a deep dive into the immense history of such a important part of European history before and after the Roman Empire. Andrada gave us a remarkable insight into why, what and how the Coliseum- Amphithéâtre and Roman forum became and will forever be a legend for humankind. And she was knowledgeable and passionate in all the related topics and questions we asked. Very recommended.

Great intro to the Colosseum and Forum

Susanna was an excellent guide who understood the history of the Forum and the Colosseum well. However, my reason for a 4-star rating is that there were a few communication challenges when we asked questions and got answers that were not relevant to the question we had asked, leading us to wonder whether our guide really understood us. Other than that, she was flexible when we wanted to shorten the tour due to the 93+ degree heat (even at 10am!) and was pleasant to walk with. Note: she strongly prefers that you use the whisper mic/headset system instead of talking directly to you -- she does a lot of talking while walking so the headsets were an absolute necessity on this tour, even though it was a private experience.

We loved this tour and our guide. She was amazing and accommodating to all of our needs. She was very knowledgeable in all things Rome. She has lived in Rome her whole life and even studied history at college in Rome. I would recommend her to anyone!
