This was a wonderful experience. The buffet brunch was very good. There was a lot of variety and the food was well prepared and fresh. The service was excellent--they kept the coffee and mimosas coming. The views were beautiful.

Food was great, friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere. Buffett brunch is ready to dish up immediately as you board the boat. Mimosas were served throughout the cruise. Recorded narration on top deck.

Michael, our waiter, was fantastic! He was attentive and friendly. The cruise was beautiful and the food was delicious. We didn’t opt to listen to the history audio, but did catch bits of it when we went out on deck. The crew was very friendly and helpful during boarding and disembarking. It was a great trip for a girls brunch!

I had a wonderful time on the river cruise. Wasn't sure what to expect and was not disappointed. I arrived and was walked to my table by my server; everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, there's even a carving station. Lots of options for non meat eaters as well.

We’ve attended the dinner cruise and that was good but the brunch cruise was fantastic.
Great food and ambiance, our waiter was top notch and the drinks and mimosas being included and generous made it over the top fabulous! In these times where most are limited by inflation, this experience gives you big bang for your bucks and also does the city of Portland a big favor, showing it in a good light and we’d highly recommend it.

We booked the lunch cruise. It was very relaxing experience. The ship sailed slowly along the river showing Portland’s bridges and neighborhoods. The vessel has two indoor decks with tables and an open top deck with lounging. Champagne and food is all you can eat and drink and there was a decent choice for food. There are also some drinks available for purchase. We recommend the Spanish Coffee which (along with few other choices) comes with bartender’s performance. The ship’s Captain will let kids and even adults steer the boat for a bit which comes with a cool certificate. Live piano music adds to the calm relaxing ambiance. There also is a souvenir shop on board. The overall service was impeccable. We loved being able to sit down and relax with a glass of champagne after many days of driving, walking and hiking.

Staff were great, views were great, ship was smooth and the cruise time felt adequate. The food was also good, and they didn’t skimp us on the mimosas! The only complaint is that my friend and I were a bit thrown off that although we arrived at the suggested 15 min early, the whole ship was pretty much sat with guests and everyone was already eating. We didn’t have the opportunity for a window seat and the buffet was quite picked through at the time of our arrival, but they did replenish some of it. It would have been good to know that you can arrive even earlier than suggested arrival time so that we didn’t feel like we were late to the party in sense. Overall, I would do it again and would recommend.

Thank you for joining us for a brunch cruise. Portland Spirit recommends a boarding time of 30 minutes prior to departure. We'll have to look at Viator's settings to see if we can find where they are recommending only 15 minutes. Thanks for bringing that to our attention! The window seats are pre assigned and are based on how early you book. Earlier booking has a better opportunity to receive a window seat. I hope that helps explain and we look forward to welcoming you again in the future!

Beautiful boat, crew was exceptionally welcoming, attentive and friendly throughout. Brunch itself was meh - food temps not great - almost cold by the time we even got upstairs. A plate warmer downstairs would be a nice touch imo.
A great number of guests seemed to be concerned with slippage while going up and down the ramp to board/return to the lot. It is quite steep.
It was raining so that didn’t help and perhaps this is nitpicking but it was a genuine concern of falling - both ways.
I also had expected at least some narration about the area while on board and perhaps that was us expecting more than what it was supposed to be. But it would have been a nice touch.
Overall, I would do it again, as it is comfy, beautiful and enjoyable.
As far as value? I don’t know that I can say it has great value at $100 a person, and the drink prices are tough ($14,) but again, it was a nice afternoon all in all.
