Dig into a buffet, including a roasted pig, beef, lomilomi salmon, hulihuli chicken, tofu poke, and other options. Top off your meal with dessert, a taro roll, tea, and Kona coffee. Vegan and vegetarian options are available.
Then find your premier seats in the center of the mezzanine for the Rock-A-Hula show, featuring a talented cast and a variety of Hawaiian and Polynesian music, fire-knife dancing, and hula.
Finish with a meet-and-greet to engage with the cast and take photos.
Upgrade to the VIP tour to include a fresh orchid lei, a super premium beverage, preferred seats at the Luau buffet, and VIP seats for the show.

Out of at least 10 Luaus we attend, this is the only one we dececided to repeat. Very unique show and unique food. We love it. Go for it, it's worthy evey penny you spent.

The highlight of this experience was the show. The dancers and fire performer was amazing! The food was poor and bland and the service at dinner was very poor. Our server John was terrible and did not pay attention to the people who did not upgrade to VIP. Ordered sodas and took 45 minutes to get it when it’s very hot outside. Better service and food choices might make this a better experience but the price was not worth it

We had an amazing time at the Rock-A-Hula Hawaiian Luau & Buffet! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome with their warm hospitality. The buffet had a great variety of delicious food, and there was something for everyone in our family. The pre-show entertainment and hula performances created a fun, festive atmosphere.
The main show was absolutely incredible! The dancers, musicians, and performers were so talented, and the fire knife performance was a definite highlight. We also loved the tribute performances—they kept the entire audience entertained from beginning to end.
If you’re visiting Waikiki and looking for a fun night filled with great food, Hawaiian culture, and outstanding entertainment, I highly recommend Rock-A-Hula. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and we’d definitely come back!

You have to pay if you want a lei at your own luau. Pretty ridiculous one doesn’t come with the package that costs hundreds of dollars. Overall it was Not authentic. The
Food was very mediocre.
If you want authenticity, do not get a luau in Waikīkī.
One free drink then everything else costs at least $10
Also, if you aren’t VIP you get fed last in the buffet. I thought for almost $300 I wouldn’t be called last for food.
Also had to move spots because the seat I chose was reserved for VIP

Not exactly as anticipated, but very pleasantly surprised!
I wanted a luau to round out our Hawaiian adventure, but also wanted a VIP experience and not get caughy up in crowds. The Green Room option at Rock a Hulu fit the bill! Backstage tour and photos, champagne, behind the scenes backstories made the dinner and show next level.
Becky was fantastic and made us feel welcome and special.
The food was surprisingly good. The dancers and servers at dinner were so pleasant and added to the enjoyment.
The show was a nice mix of traditional Hawaiian, Elvis, MJ and capped off with the fire twirler! The dance company and singers were very talented as well.
Is it something I’d do again and again? No. But, I’d absolutely make the same decision to go see it. Splurge for the Green Room option…worth the extras!
Oh, and the orchid leis. Beautiful!

Food was good, show was a usual experience pairing Hawaiian history with American Musical eras. The performers were amazing, lovely singers especially with Elvis and Michael Jackson impersonators as well as the two lead lady singers who also doubled as narrators.
The only negative was the waitstaff. The staff was inattentive and you can tell they don’t take pride in their work. Overall poor service from them, skip the food to avoid the waitstaff.

Great experience, customer service was top-notch, servers very friendly and helpful. We came in on Thursday our dinner was supposed to be Friday. They gave us an open space that Thursday to have our dinner. That alone was just very nice. We had a great experience even in the showroom.

What a fun evening for everyone. We chose this because we wanted to do a luau, but I wasn’t sure if my daughter would understand or appreciate a traditional luau. This one had a lot of elements of a traditional luau built in, but obviously had a lot of other entertainment as well. The food was quite good, the servers were very friendly, and the entertainment was very enjoyable. Everyone that attended seemed to enjoy it. I feel like it was a very good value for the price paid.

It was awesome! Definitely recommend watching. We purchased the Green Room experience however we could not use the green room due to power outage. There’s nothing much they could do but tried their best to accommodate us.

When you get your drink at the beginning, that is the only free drink. I did not know that. I had drunk all of that drink before I ate my food and had to buy another drink (they only take credit cards and not cash.). I then ate all of my food before the server brought me my drink and credit cards back. I had to get water while eating.

The food was tasty but I was expecting an outdoor, more authentic type of cuisine rather than a regular buffet with some Hawaiian themed food. I also wish we had more time to enjoy all of it. The performers were doing some dancing in between the long picnic-like tables but it was more of a distraction than I could really enjoy because of the way the seating was. I had to turn around to watch but still wanted to eat my dinner. The lady singing with the ukulele was more entertaining - I wish she had more time to perform than the dancers. The dancers were also trying to teach some hula moves in between the tables but with everyone standing, it was hard to see them and their footwork. I would have preferred if they had a small stage they could have stood on so everyone could see them. The show with the Elvis and Michael Jackson impersonators was pretty good. And the fire dancer was pretty cool. But overall, I felt like it was too modern. I was hoping for a more authentic island feel to the whole experience. If you prefer a more modern feel, then this fits the bill.

Unfortunately, this luau did not meet my expectations, especially considering the price paid. There was no traditional lei greeting upon arrival, which was disappointing and took away from the authentic Hawaiian welcome I was anticipating. The entertainment lacked energy and excitement, and the performances never truly engaged the audience. I was also surprised that there were no ocean views, as the setting felt more like a banquet hall than the tropical experience that was advertised.
As for the food, the buffet reminded me more of a typical church fellowship meal than a memorable Hawaiian feast. Overall, the experience simply didn’t deliver the atmosphere, quality, or value I expected. For the amount charged, I would have much preferred a nice beachfront dinner with beautiful views and a more intimate island experience. I cannot recommend this luau and would encourage others to explore alternative dining options in Waikiki.
