Everyone can learn to surf, especially with this private one-on-one lesson in Oahu. It’s perfect for beginners or more advanced if you want to improve your skills. Your gear is all provided, including your surfboard, rash guard, and water shoes. Just show up ready for instruction, and then try your skills at catching some waves.

Meet at the end of the parking lot. There will be a small triangular beach on the ocean. This is a free parking lot. If you are unable to find parking here there is a paid parking lot to the right just before this lot. Call with any concerns. (We will do our best to answer the phone between lessons)

I had an amazing surfing lesson and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The instructor was extremely professional, patient, and encouraging, which made a huge difference, especially for someone who wants to progress quickly. Everything was explained clearly, from safety rules to proper technique, and the feedback in the water was spot on. The lesson was well organized, fun, and motivating from start to finish. I felt comfortable and confident the whole time, and I actually managed to catch several waves. Great vibe, great energy, and great results. I would absolutely recommend this surfing lesson to anyone, beginner or intermediate.

Nice and easy waters. He tries to make sure you get up on and stand and get great photos! Best instructor and experience compared to doing this in Biarritz and Bondi Beach. Especially good for children and fearful surfers

Jake was so patient and very kind. I felt like a queen riding those small waves. Even though I couldn’t see anything I felt safe with him! He functioned as my eyes and surf instructor basically.😂10/10 would do it again!

Jake is super patient and an excellent teacher. We went to the wrong location originally and he had no problem guiding us and waiting for us to go to the correct location. He took a ton of great videos and photos for us. He also made sure we all caught waves. Highly recommended if you’re a beginner looking to have a great time and catch a wave or two.

I always had a salt water trauma since I was a child. So even I love to swim, that only applies to a swimming pool. However I decided to take a challenge and overcome the trauma by going for a such extreme water sport on the ocean. I must admit that it was frightening when I began to paddle toward the waves and I was thinking ‘what on earth am I doing here?’ But this will go away when you paddle for few minutes. I was so shattered so that Jake had to push me and the board all the time(which I felt really bad :( ). I manage to stand up in one wave and I think this was such an excellent achievement for me and I couldn’t have done this without Jake’s teaching and guidance. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience and I will definitely practice more when I go back home.

Had an incredible time surfing with Jake! So glad I selected a private lesson - he was next to me during the session - helped to guide my board when paddling and surfing. He had a great attitude and teaching knowledge - kept the time fun. He sent the videos and pictures he took quickly, a few hours after my session and I love how they turned out - Overall super happy with my experience and highly recommend booking a private lesson with Jake, even if you’ve done a bit of surfing before it really helped with understanding where to go, the reefs, surf etiquette, etc.
