We had a great time ! The tour guide was knowledgeable and had a theatrical flair. The locations were spooky yet while the overall tour still feeling very safe.

Excellent tour! Full of great stories and history. Just the right amount of walking. We felt as though we went back in time. While we saw no ghosts, there was definitely the presence of spirits. The Professor was knowledgeable and very entertaining. I would definitely do another of his tours!

Our guide, Professor Clerval, made this such a fun trip for all of us. The meeting spot was easy to find,; the stories were presented in a lively, entertaining fashion; the pace was relaxed. A great way to see a part of the city you might not otherwise visit and to learn some of its history. The Professor also did a great job of engaging the youngest ones of the group by learning their names and by asking them questions and to share their stories. That doesn’t always happen with tour guides but very smart of him because if the kids are happy the rest of the crowd is happy!

I did this with my 15 year old daughter. It was a lot of fun, entertaining, insightful and educational. We learned a lot of history coupled with spooky stories. Professor Clerval was fantastic. I’m glad we did this.

Had an absolute blast on this tour! The Professor was a perfect guide! His stories really came to life and he was both knowledgeable and funny! Great historical knowledge and a grand storyteller! From the Poe stories to Death House just purely entertaining! Would surely recommend this tour and guide to all!

Booked this for my boyfriend’s birthday! We live in nyc but had never taken an official tour. Decided a ghost tour would be fun after dinner.
Although its a group tour. We were the only ones booked so it felt like a private tour. Our guide was lovely! Super fun and extremely informative. It was like a historical tour with spooky lore. Recommend!

An outstanding night walk around the Washington Square park area with the infamous professor Henry Clerval. Professor Clerval conveyed some of the famous ghost stories of the area in a pleasant, and extremely entertaining way. My wife, son and I had a great time sharing stories with the other students and the interactions with the professor. Going on Ghost Tours has become sort of a family outing when we go on trips, and this ranks among the best we have been on, informative, and entertaining, what more can you ask for. The next time we are in New York we will try one of the other tours offered.

We had such a great time! The guide was excellent and really made the entire tour. Our teenagers loved it and did not complain about walking or the cold because the tour was so fun. We loved the history and the ghosty stories. Excellent option for older teens and adults!

Prof Clerval was entertaining, well informed and a wonderful guide for our Greenwich Ghost tour. History included at no extra cost! Highly recommended - my 13 year old son says “I had the best time!”.

Excellent tour guide - Professor Clerval of Haunted Manhattan was so animated and fun. He was a wonderful story teller, and was equal amounts spooky and compassionate about the stories (some are very tragic!). There were tourists and locals on the tour, and everyone had a great time. I would 100% recommend this tour, well worth the time and money.
