First…Kin, our experience’s organizer, driver and guide was engaging and enthusiastic, while also being generous and thoughtful with his knowledge. Kin Faulk and “K’s”are extraordinary!!!
The plantation exhibits and tour were very interesting. This ongoing chapter of American darkness needs to continuously be re-examined until this sin shapes the mind of this country to truly repent.
Finally, the swamp tour was probably the best one my partner and I have been a part of. It was a nice light counterpoint to the plantation. A great guide made this so as he provided much fun and insight. Also, we saw wildlife we hadn’t seen before on a swamp tour.
All in all this was a truly great day. And that was due to Kin and “K’s”. Yay.

This was a full day tour visiting the Oak House Plantation and swamp tour. Both places were amazing to visit and Kin was a brilliant. Picked us up on time and would definitely recommend this tour.

Our family’s first trip to New Orleans and we wanted to take some fun tours to learn more about the area & history, and Kindrell was an incredible wealth of knowledge! He spoke to everything New Orleans, gave fantastic recommendations, was witty & fun to be with, and an excellent host.
Kindrell was so well organized and polite! He called and texted when he was on the way to pick us up in front of our hotel. He provided us icy cold waters and made sure we drank them & spoke about the risks of the heat in Louisiana. His van was beyond clean and comfortable - so much so I’m embarrassed to say that I accidentally fell asleep on the way back to the hotel! I’m sad because my husband said I missed some great content. 😢. However, that’s how comfortable I was with Kindrell - a Mother with her family, fell asleep in a tour guide’s van, her first day in a brand new place… If you know how meaningful and special that is, you know. 💯
What really struck me was Kindrell’s care for a couple of older passengers - he GENUINELY cared for them. Helped them in & out, spoke to their tour guide to make sure they were taken care of, and went the extra mile. This is just what I saw sitting in the back row with my family.
The Oak Alley Plantation Tour would have been much better had Kindrell given it himself and I felt like the Slave piece of the history is very white washed. Personal opinion; I want to return to do the Whitney Plantation tour next time completely from the slaves perspective - not the slave owners with the big, pretty houses.
The Cajun Pride Alligator Tour was awesome!!! Oh my gosh, my family had a blast. We saw many alligators, got up close to a few when the captain fed them, saw raccoons, birds, and even a razorback hog! Everyone got to hold the smallest, softest, baby gator too. 🥰
I can’t wait to return to NOLA and I hope to use Kindrell’s services again and would recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Kin was honestly amazing. I was supposed to be on a group plantation and swamp tour, but some people canceled last minute and I ended up being the only one. Instead of canceling on me, he still took me and turned it into a private tour, which I really appreciated.
He didn’t hold back at all just because it was only me. He really took the time to teach me the history, answer my questions, and make the experience feel meaningful.
He picked me up and dropped me off at my hotel, gave great food recommendations, and just went above and beyond. His van was super clean and spacious, had charging ports, and he even gave out water, which was a really nice and needed touch.
I’m really glad I booked this tour. If you’re thinking about it, definitely go with K’s Luxury Transportation and Tour.

Let me start by saying that this is the only company that gives you three hours for the Oak Alley tour, which is great because it doesn't feel rushed at all. It's the perfect amount of time, really. And our guide, Kindrell, was fantastic! He told us all about New Orleans on the drive over. The swamp was seriously amazing, a great addition. We saw tons of alligators, and our local Cajun guide, Tom, was super experienced and really cared about the gators. Honestly, this was one of the best tours we've done in the US.

Kin was amazing! He made sure we were well taken care of and that we had information we needed to get the most of our tours. He provided excellent service and provided interesting information about the area on the way there and back. He even provided suggestions for restaurants, too. Captain Tom was great, too. We saw lots of gators, pigs, and raccoons. Oak Alley was beautiful and their staff was very friendly.

Kin provides great service for this tour. He gives insight to New Orleans as he drives you to the Plantation and the swap tour. He drops you off for both experiences, but makes sure you are well informed as to where to go and what to see. He made a wet and rainy day quite enjoyable!

I have traveled extensively Europe, Africa, North America. I have never seen this level of compassion this owner/operator has for good service other then in Cairo Egypt where our tour guide stopped to pass sandals out to homeless in street. His knowledge of the area was great. The bus was comfortable. He provided water for everyone. The guided tour of house was nice. We walked the grounds. Great lunch at restaurant on site of plantation. Cheaper option is a cafe also onsite. Huge gift shop. Did wish the guide was available for slave history part. Do think could have spent an another hour walking around. The swamp tour was amazing. My son got to hold a baby alligator. They also had a gift shop with drinks and snacks available. Did have a video playing about different plantations during ride.

This was a great experience. The highlight was the Cajun swamp tours. They have their own private swamp and it is full of animals and history. The Oak Valley tour was great as well. Our driver, Kindrell Faulk, was very entertaining during our drive. Keep in mind, this is a full day event, but well worth it.

We had a great time! Kin took extra steps to make sure we enjoyed our tour--starting with picking us up at our hotel; making sure we knew where restrooms were located; where to meet; where to eat. The journey to the plantations was filled with information about each plantation we passed. He pointed out wildlife along the way as well as historic sites. He also gave "heads up" when we were approaching a photo op. Finally, the ride was comfortable, and he supplied us all with bottled water. Don't miss this adventure!

This was a wonderful way to see the surrounding countryside, along with learning about plantation life, and seeing the wildness of the swamp. Kin was outstanding- since it was just the three of us in a very comfortable van, it was more like traveling, talking and asking questions with a friend. Kin was so knowledgeable about the area, and we learned so much more than we would have with a canned speech on a bus.
The plantation was interesting and beautiful. Unfortunately it was too cold for any alligators to be out. But we did see wild pigs and raccoons. Overall, an excellent trip.

This tour was terrific! Kin of K’s Luxury Tours called us personally the night before to let us know what time to expect him at our hotel. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, sharing facts and history as we drove to Oak Alley.
We had a tour and lunch at the plantation, a beautiful place with a terrible history of slavery. The exhibits did a good job of bringing this history to light.
Kin picked us up right on time and we were off to the swamp. He made sure we had one of their best tour guides. Captain Tom was a real character with a lot of interesting facts about the swamp. We saw a ton of alligators as well as wild pigs and birds. We even got to hold a baby alligator!
Kin picked us up again right on time. He provided bottled water and even had phone chargers to borrow which was great as my phone was running low. This was our absolute favorite day I. New Orleans. Do yourself a favor and book this tour!

Our driver Kindrell was awesome, he was very informative about the area and answered all questions. He was also very accommodating. Kin communicated all the details of pick up and drop off and knew the tour details very well. We did the all day tour and went to the swamp first. Captain Dustin was great! This was the highlight of our trip! The animals were awesome!
Oak Alley plantation is beautiful! This is a must do tour!!

Experienced Excellent "Client Care" as opposed to routine customer service.

Our tour guide Kin, was very knowledgeable about the city and the plantations. He gave us lots of information about it all! The swamp tour was exciting with the sighting of so many alligators and bonus animals on land and in the air! Back in the city, we drove through the French Quarter as Kin gave suggestions for the best dining places around the city. He also provided unlimited ice cold water throughout the day! I highly recommend this day trip. You will not be disappointed!!!

Our tour guide Kin was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Had a wealth of information in the history and culture of New Orleans. Had wonderful recommendations and suggestions. The Plantation was beautiful and extremely well kept. Restaurant and gift shop were nice and affordable. The Swamp Tour was great. Captain Danny was funny and informative and made the trip entertaining. A+++ TOUR.

This was an amazing trip! Our tour guide, Kindrell was great. He was informative about the history and culture of New Orleans and made a point to take different routes to let us see all the different scenery. He was polite, helpful and communicative.
The tour itself was great bang for your buck with not one but two tours built in. It was a perfect day filled with adventure and excitement.
