This was the best walking tour! It was part history lesson, part architecture tutorial and 100% engaging.
Our guide, Guy, has lived in the area for many year. He added personal anecdotes and local color to the already fascinating history of New Orleans, and particularly the Marigny area. He had visual aids that helped us understand the geography, social migration and architecture of the region. And he had a very relaxed and engaging style. You can tell he really understands and loves his city.
One of the best walking tours I’ve ever taken, of any city. I highly recommend for tourists and residents alike.
