This tour was amazing!! Our tour guide actually designed the tour and at this point is the only one who gives this tour, so she was just a wealth of information and passion and humor and compassion. I love this so much more than I even expected and it had already been a highlight expectation of my trip to New Orleans. Highly recommend for anyone who loves history and learning about culture!

LaToya is a a gifted story teller! She kept us engaged and shared many facts about past and present New Orleans. I've been to New Orleans many times and went on many tours. This is one of my top tours. The tour time, duration, and location are perfect. Book this tour.

Latoya is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Treme. She showed us various homes and businesses in the district that are black owned and still prominent.

Latoya was energetic, engaged and brimming with facts/stories. She easily weathered a distasteful encounter with another guide in Louis Armstrong Park, and rolled with the punches when the tour stop coffee place was closed.

We’re so glad you had a good time! LaToya is indeed magic, and her light is the best defense against the foolishness out there sometimes! Come back again and take another tour! 🥰

THIS experience was my absolute favorite of all of my tours. Just learning the history about the Treme and the historical features of the music from the negro slaves to the croons, wails, and bellows of instruments these Black and Brown peoples put their hands and lips to was just awe inspiring.
My tour guide was absolutely phenomenal in the way she tells the story of all that is featured in the park. The way she gave context really helped bring what we were seeing and hearing to life. She was very knowledgeable and made me want to return to New Orleans for another visit.

So glad you enjoyed the tour! LaToya is truly a treasure.

Latoya is Amazing! Months on and I am still raving on about Tremè and Nola’s rich history. Very informative and everything and more you would expect from a Black History tour. My favourite was the Backstreet Museum which i returned back to after the tour and had a in depth tour of the museum. & Calas to WORLD! Make sure to stop off at the Noaam for a taste :)
