These people really run this business with their heart and soul. The ride was about 40 min from where I stayed. If you book with a party pickup is possible to be arranged I believe. It costed me about $40-50 to get there from where I was staying on the strip and their driver even offered to take me back to my hotel if I couldn’t get a Lyft. Once I arrived, I could see all the beautiful horses and landscape. I was greeted with my breakfast which consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage, a hash-brown, and a bottle of orange juice. After everybody arrived, everybody was matched with their proper horses according to their height and weight and we took off on a slow yet steady ride through the mountains of Nevada. Their horses are also truly some of the calmest I’ve seen by the way and my horse was huge lol. However, the ride was beautiful and the operator even offered me a bottle of water afterwards. This was something I did on a whim but I’d definitely recommend this as something to do with your family or your significant other if you get a chance to while you are in Vegas.

I took the personal transportation and it was great! The horses are gentle and well suited to the experience. I would do it again and there are different locations to choose from depending on the time of year. I definitely recommend it.

This was a real fun experience. Although we could not find the place around first. Our Uber driver waited until we actually found the place. He also waited the whole time of the experience, which was really nice. I would've gave 5 stars, but they told us not to use our phones, because they would take pictures and send them to us. They took pictures but its not been two weeks since and we have nt received our pictures. Good thing we did grab a few pictures if our own. The guide was welll knowledgeable, however, she could've use a microphone. If you were in the back you could barely hear her.

We enjoyed the ride. It was a good experience for our first time riders. The older kids wanted to trot but enjoyed the scenery and the ride. Our guide was Awesome.

The trail was so beautiful, and the horses were very well trained. My friend who’s never ridden horses before had a really fun time. Our tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable!
The only issue I had was the transportation. The booking made it seem like transportation was included and that I would be picked up on the strip which was not the case. I had to book transportation through another website and they would only pick me up about 30 mins away from the strip. I paid $120 for a “shuttle” to get us which turned out to just be an uber that they booked for me. Had I known this I could’ve booked the Uber myself and saved a lot of money. So I had to uber to the pick up location, uber to the farm, and uber back to the pickup location then back to my hotel. I paid about $200 just for transportation on top of already spending $200 to book the rides. Communicating with the tour about transportation was also really confusing and frustrating. Like I said the ride was so much fun I just wish the transportation wasn’t as confusing, misleading and expensive. If you’re in town I would recommend going just get your own transportation!

Tour guide was good, but I have to honest , the description said a ride in the mountains and forest and it was not that at all.. we basically walked down a gravel road back and forth… very underwhelming for the money.. I have done other horseback riding tours in Vegas where you actually do walk into the mountains and not just on a gravel road…..

We have two locations, one in the mountains with trees and the other is in the desert. I am not sure why you said it was a gravel road as the desert ride is not on a gravel road at all as you ride through the desert with mountains, red rock formations, green bushes and it is sandy not gravel. The Mountain ride with the green trees does not open until May so you could not have booked that tour as it was not available to purchase.. I believe you may have been confused by the product you purchased. Perhaps you read our other listing but then switched to this one and booked not realizing? I am not sure what happened but we are glad you had a safe ride with our friendly guide and awesome horses.. the other place in Las Vegas you ride mules and donkeys not horses.

Guide never showed, never answered a text, chat, or phone call. It cost me 135, and 30 in uber, but most importantly my time. My day event for my trip is gone. Really kinda sucks, now I get nothing.

The woman tour guide took photos while texting the entire ride even when I asked her politely not to take photos because we would take our own she said she “HAD” to for proof of ride to send to there office and she would send to us after well it’s been a week we’ve been trying to contact them and just today they tell us it’s going to be 20$ to get the photos .
Besides that the ride was unpleasant because the horse clearly didn’t want me to ride him he made that known which I did tell the operator I was just uncomfortable the whole ride which is why I didn’t want photos of myself I was terrified and there are tons of other horse tours to choose from I’d stay away from this one .

We went for the activity, but there was no one, no horse. The person wanted us to go on foot further into the desert, it was very horror movie. We waited in our Lyft until the departure time to try to join the person for the activity and still nothing. We left the place. Our Lyft told us that it would be unsafe to leave us there that it seemed a strange way to do things. The person texted us very angry and did not want to reimburse us. 250% for the activity and $ 120 for transportation, ultimately we wasted time and money.

This is 100 percent not correct. You did not show up at all for the tour. We kept telling you to drive not walk to the correct spot and you never showed up. All of the other clients showed up for the tour so we are not sure why you didn’t attend. You never advised us that you did not show until we asked you where your group was 15 minutes after your scheduled tour time.

I recently went horseback riding in the desert, and it was an unforgettable experience. The views were breathtaking,
the horses were calm, and well-trained, making the ride enjoyable even for beginners like me. The guide was very friendly and informative.
Overall, it was a peaceful , thrilling adventure. The connection with nature, the gentle pace of the ride, and the unique desert landscape made it a memory to cherish.

I cant say enough good things about this excusrsion. This is my second time going with Silver Lake Horseback riding tour. First was with family in 2021 and Just now today. The driver that transported me from my hotel to the riding excursion ( Kym) was on point and just a sweet young lady. She is also a horse trainer and guide and was pleasant and knowlegable. So if you are a riding novice she will put you at ease! Charlie our riding guide was just excellent, relaxed and great with the horses and us riders. 100% worth the money and worth a tip. If you opt for the ride plus lunch/ dinner they DONT DISAPPOINT! AWESOME!

Beautiful views and very comfortable temperature, even though it was the middle of summer. The horses were great. Wonderful experience for myself, my 7 year old, and my mother. Highly recommend!

Charlie our guide was very knowledgeable and provided us comfort for being our first time. Was patient and assisted us when needed. We had a group of 6 in total and the horses were great. Well taken care of. Had a great time making memories. Trail was 45 min long. Uphill and downhill.

Our guide didn't seem to be happy with having to give us a trail tour . After booking for 1pm they texted and asked us to come at 12pm instead. We arrived at 1130 and was on the horses by 11:50.
our guide was some what reserved and didn't say much except when to lean forward or back. Or if a branch was hanging low. We stop 3 time for photos. We got back to start point at 12:40 , so the in total was less then an 1hr. We were told that they would send us our group photos to the email I used to book with. But we haven't received any . And I've texted the number that was giving to me I keep getting the same text of how to book with them, I've emailed the company and same thing a link of how to book .

Hi.
Sorry you didn’t like your guide. When we have a small group attend like yours the guide is able to get you on the horses faster and the horses walk faster and so the tour may be a few minutes short but your getting the same ride as when the horses walk slower and it’s over an hour tour. Since we’re dealing with animals and not robots it is hard to make sure the tour is to the exact minute on the hour mark. Sometimes tour ends a few minutes early and other times we go over a few minutes. We hope you enjoyed the beautiful scenery and so happy you had a safe tour on the horses. :)

Couldn't get questions answered by tour operator or Viator. Never attended excursions due to lack of communication. Anything to do food or excursions wise are so expensive. Everyone literally tries to drain every cent from you with refunds listed on most bookings.

Difficult to find the location on the map for Uber but once we were there the views of the mountains were amazing, horses well behaved, and had a relaxing walk through the desert.

I really enjoyed the horse back riding . I was on vacation with my family it was my daughter’s 21st birthday. I purchased 3 tickets to take her horseback riding. The only thing I had was issues with them not sending me the pictures from the trip, I was told to tip them $30 and that they email me the photos. But it’s been 5 days and I still haven’t received any email. I’m very disappointed. I even emailed they twice and texted them 3 time but nothing happened.

There is lack of communication on their part very disappointing. I was able to get in the horseback ride at a different location then where we were to meet up at which was Mt Charleston. The company did ok my map that I needed to send them to make sure I was going to the right place.I was disappointed no photos were allowed to be taken. The guide did take photos of me with her cell phone but did not send them to me. There were no restrooms to use before the ride, it was out in the desert and not in the mountains as described. I did get a ride in the horses are great for beginners. The guide still took me out even though I was late (not on my part) but because of the change in location which took me an hour longer to get there. The company did not answer the few texts that I sent.

The hurricane damage required us to shut down the mountian rides for a short amount of time. We sent you all the maps and directions needed to go to our other location and you chose to ignore our emails and texts and go to the wrong location. We did accommodate you and had our guide wait for you to arrive. When we asked you why you had ignored our directions you didn’t answer our texts. Sorry you felt that it was a lack of communication on our part but your deciding to not read what we sent you caused the issue. If you send us a email or text we can show you that the pictures were sent to your email address after your tour :)
