Very well organized! Cowboys were super helpful and friendly. Riding throughout the landscape was incredible - breathtaking. Horses were well-mannered. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of Vegas city life is good for your soul. Dinner was delicious and the cowboy s'mores were, too. Great experience!

Pick up was on time and driver lovely. The horses were all ready for us and the ride was beautiful. Supper was great, steak was cooked to perfection. To finish off we toasted marshmallows over a fire pit. All the staff were really lovely and helpful.

Do your best cowboy or cowgirl impression as you mount your horse and ride into the Red Rock Canyon. The rust-colored walls and deep gorges are an impressive sight—especially during sunset.

Afterwards, enjoy an authentic Western barbecue next to a campfire. Steak, chicken, fish, or vegetarian options are available, plus sides of salad, cowboy potatoes, and baked beans. Toast to the night with cowboy s’mores.

What a way to get your "Cowboy" on! Loved the Sunset ride with BBQ dinner. My wife and I had an amazingly good time. Yes, it was a trail ride, but it did require some trust in your horse. We cut through some of the most interesting terrain. The trail was especially well thought out and well designed. There were inclines, drops, and it was a pretty rocky path. The horses new the way. We felt very secure and had excellent guides, with helmets available for use. The scenery was gorgeous. We chose the salmon dinner, which was spot on, given a 5 STAR review! We didn't feel at all short changed by the ride or our meal, although this is a pricier tour. It was THE BEST TRAIL RIDING EXPERIENCE, we've ever had. We've been on several over the years, even in Alaska. We can hardly wait to return, and try both the Breakfast ride and the Dinner ride, again. We highly recommend this tour. It was the best time we had while visiting Las Vegas, outside of the Eagles concert, at the Sphere. If you ever wanted to experience the wild west on horseback, this ride is for you. Very impressive setup. Very involved and caring staff. This is a great adventure.

This was such a phenomenal start to our vacation. I cant praise this experience enough. From start to finish it was the best time. The scenery was beautiful, the horses were gentle, the guides were funny and not too "commercial", the food was peak. Such a incredible time!

Great people and animals!

Melanie_K, Apr 2026
The rangers and chefs were awesome! Friendly and fun! The horses and mules were also perfect as well as the atmosphere. The only downfall was the dust and the part of the trail that paralleled the road, not a deal breaker by any means!

Great experience, smooth collection & drop off. Horses were clearly well cared for The ride itself was good, but for beginners, no cantering or galloping Food was excellent Fire and smores was fun Bring layers as it is cold once the sun is down

Watch the weather yourself

Gary_N, Apr 2026
A little rain and wind made for uncomfortable conditions but expected cancellation when thunder occurred early on the ride. Some of us turned back and waited for the others in the dinner barn. There was a precarious broken window in that building, uncovered and unrepaired for some time.

An absolute must for anyone visiting vegas

Scott_M, Apr 2026
From pick up to drop off this was an amazing trip. We are a family of 4 who have never rode a horse before but the wranglers made sure we had a horse that was ideal for our lack of experience My horse was called traveller and was perfect for a novice like myself. Due to the bad weather we cut our ride short however it was personal choice and some of the group carried on. That didn’t spoil our day though as we went back to the ranch to heat up with some hot chocolate and wait on the rest of the group coming back. When everyone was together again we had a lovely meal (my son said it was the best meal of his whole vegas trip) and smores around the fire. We also met some lovely people which made it even more amazing If you are ever visiting vegas and need some time away from the chaos, this is the perfect experience

Beautiful adventure!

Liz_D, Apr 2026
I / we absolutely loved every part of this experience! The van picked us up on time and at location by Ceasers (they have a few pick up points) and rode out to beautiful Red Rock. The horses were saddled up and waiting , covered area and obviously very well taken care of. The chefs were waiting to verify our selected meals and to introduce themselves. We had a safety meet with the wranglers and then paired with our friendly horses or mules. They were all very sure footed and had moved at a nice stroll through the paths as we went single file along the trail. Had some picture moments and then returned to the main area where we had our most fabulous meal!! Steaks and sides served hot and delicious!!! They do have other protein options but most went with ribeye or salmon. Had a marshmallow roast after dinner and then loaded up in our van to return to the hotel. Absolutely recommend to anyone to do this adventure!

Special experience

AmberLouise_L, Apr 2026
Such a special experience, so glad we booked. I can’t stress enough how professional the team was and how well they looked after us. They made everyone feel so welcome and the food was great too - the chef sure knows his way around a steak! Would come back and do this experience again.

Excellent ride in a beautiful setting

They have stairs if you have diifulculty mounting or dismounting. They provide roomy saddlebags for cameras or water.

Fun for All!

Noreen_V, Apr 2026
The tour was a lot of fun. The horses were gentle and the path was fun as it went through a canyon area. We did the dinner tour and my steak was perfect with large portions. It was fun to sit around the camp fire and roast marshmallows at the end. I highly recommend.

Incredible experience

Krystal_T, Apr 2026
I was hesitant to book because it was far away from the hotel we were at we were going to have to ride there. I didn't know if the ride and views would be worth it. And boy was I so pleasantly surprised. The van right there was great. It was a nice comfortable bus to get out to the ranch. The ranch was so beautiful, clean, and organized. Everything went so quickly and efficiently. The ride itself was absolutely gorgeous. The views were stunning. the weather was beautiful. The horses were amazing. The staff was friendly and funny. The food was so good. The cook was incredible. It was the best activity that we did in Vegas by far.

This was a fantastic experience. From the moment we booked, we knew we made the right choice. The viator app made it ao easy to see when we were able to book, they give you an option of paying up front or at the time of the event. They send someone to pick you up from certain hotels, and that made it easy. They were accommodating. Got us all on horses/mules per our height and weight. Once every one is saddled up, you ride a bit, before coming to a clearing to have the guides take photos for you. 3/4 through our ride you can smell the food cooking. The steaks at the end of the ride were superb. Then they had smores by the campfire. What an experience.

Great horse back ride and dinner experience.

trina_d, Apr 2026
It was great we were picked up at our hotel. Drove less than 40-45 min from South Point hotel to the ranch in red canyon. We were greeted by a ranger and allowed to use the restroom before starting. They assign you horses. I never ridden a horse before, but they brief you on the basics of controlling the horse. The horse naturally follow one another in a straight line. I’m not going to lie, it was challenging at first because sometimes when all the horses get backed up and stop, the horse would want to stop and eat. Then you have to jerk the rein and give the horse a kick to keep him going. Sometimes the horse wouldn’t react, but after a while i got the hang of it. It was a nice 45-50 min ride through beautiful mountain scenery. The rangers will help you along the way if your horse slows down. They were great help with my 13 year old daughter and helping her control her horse. You will be definitely be guided and helped by the rangers. There is a stop half way the rangers will gather you and bring your group or family together to take a picture (without getting off the horse). Once you get back the food is ready for dinner. Once everyone is done and ready, we headed back to our hotels.

Great evening in nature and a great meal

Arabella_W, Apr 2026
Pickup was on time. The wranglers took time to get us set up with the right horse/mule and made sure I was comfortable throughout the tour. The mule was well behaved and th scenery for the trek was stunning. Was a beautiful sunset. Then the dinner was delicious and really exceeded expectations by far! Finished with somores round a fire. Great evening. Will do it again next time I’m in Vegas!

Nice staff, Good Views, Lots of Waiting Around

Stephanie_K, Apr 2026
The staff were friendly and the experience overall was well-organized and pleasant. The food was surprisingly good. The weather (on an afternoon in March) was perfect and the landscape was beautiful. However, you should note two inaccuracies in the description: 1. Most of the mounts are mules - not horses. This doesn't really matter, it's just a funny technicality. The mules are very sure-footed over the rocky terrain. 2. The ride is 90 minutes - dinner was about 60 minutes. The experience from door to door took 6 hours, which means we spent 4.5 hours basically twiddling our thumbs. Either in transit to/from Vegas (stopping at a dozen different hotels) or waiting around for folks to get mounted up, take bathroom breaks, get their mount back in line, etc. This would be much less of a problem if they took fewer guests on each ride - there were 30 people with my group - which is a lot to wrangle.

Horseback ride

A great place! Our second time. There’s a couple of trails, one a bit flatter than the other. Super nice people, obviously care about the horses. We did the sunset one this time so a super time of the day to be out there. Gorgeous scenery . Highly recommend!

Great experience!

Mariela_M, Mar 2026
We enjoyed our experience from pick up to drop off. The bus was big and clean. The tours guides were highly experience, and shared their experience in different horse competitions they have participated in. The food was delicious, we got two steaks. We would definitely come back!

Amazing Adventure!

Amy_H, Mar 2026
Amazing experience! The scenery was stunning, the horses and mules were great, and the ranchers (shoutout to Charles) were very kind and helpful! The highlight of my Vegas trip- plus the steak we had was better than what we had at the steakhouse on the Strip!

Red Rock Canyon is beautiful at sunset especially while riding the Cowboy trail. Dinner they prepared was delicious and you can’t beat smores on the huge campfire!

Ride to Remember

The ride is spectacular! The views are overwhelming and the rock formations and plant life are unique to this landscape. The meal was so delicious! After, s’mores under the stars made a sweet conclusion. The Rangers kept us informed, safe and entertained!
