What To Expect
Meet your driver upon hotel pickup on the Las Vegas Strip to start your Wild West horseback riding adventure. Relax on the drive to a horse ranch, where professional wranglers match you with a horse suitable to your skill level.
After a safety briefing, head out on a horseback riding tour through the southern Nevada desert, following your experienced guide who ensures your comfort at all times.
During the horseback trail ride, you’re surrounded by gorgeous mountains and Joshua trees, silhouetted against the sunset. As dusk descends, marvel at the orange glow under open skies and, if you are lucky, you may spot bighorn sheep, roadrunners, jackrabbits, and other wildlife native to the desert outside Las Vegas.
On your return to the ranch, you’re served up a classic country-style dinner. Dig into your choice of chicken or steak (vegetarian option also available) accompanied by a baked potato, corn on the cob, rolls, and a slice of good old-fashioned apple pie.
Conclude your evening with a cowboy (or cowgirl) campfire under the stars (weather permitting). Then relax on the return drive to your hotel—with time to enjoy Las Vegas' legendary nightlife.

Our experience at this place was fantastic! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our first horse riding experience. The staff, particularly Allen, was incredibly accommodating. He picked us up, cooked us dinner, and drove us back to the city. Jason was also very helpful, providing us with all the necessary information. I highly recommend this place.

We had such a brilliant experience, defo recommend! Hector, Leo & AJ were all so friendly & lovely to talk to during the trip. My mum & I are beginners in horse riding, they explained everything well and made it easy. They also took nice photos of us during the horse riding 😊 After the horse riding AJ made such a nice BBQ meal, unreal steak 😋 then Leo & Hector also tried to teach everyone how to lasso. Must do during a trip to Vegas!

It was a great experience from the beginning to the end. Our driver/cook was very personable and the ranch hands were very knowledgeable and helpful for a first time rider. The sights were beautiful and seeing the sunset in the desert was gorgeous! Highly recommend 👌

Picked up from hotel and transported about an hour to the ranch. We were met by the ranch hands who explained the trek, the horses and the safety protocols to us.
The trail is beautiful and the sunset was breathtaking. One lady in our group was nervous and another became unwell so they sent for the jeep and the ladies were taken back to wait at the ranch with no problems.
The food was rustic and cooked on a grill. The steak was one of the most delicious steaks I have ever had.
This is a working ranch and not glamourous. The ride is gentle but the heat makes it strenuous. The ranch hands are incredible and knowledgeable and make you feel like you’re in safe hands. The horses are well trained responsive.
Would definately recommend this experience.

A great experience out in the Nevada desert the team are brilliant and funny. They made an inexperienced rider (myself) feel very at ease, the horses are very well trained and so easy to ride. The bbq after the ride was excellent and AJ cooked a perfect steak. The collection to and from vegas was smooth and punctual.

Our driver and cook, Aj, was very nice and funny and cooks an amazing, delicious, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked steak dinner. The ride was amazing and sooo beautiful with the scenery and the guides, Hector and the other guy, were very attentive and took some great pictures of me and my boyfriend on our horses with a great background. Will defiantly be bringing the family to do this again.

A great experience! Hector and his helper were great trail leaders
And very knowledgeable of the terrain and animals. Loved the baby goats! got to see llamas, chickens, sheep. Jinx the dog kept us company on the trail. A wonderful experience, the sunset was amazing.. AJ was a perfect cook and driver!

Dress appropriately for weather and desert. Hats, sunblock, sunglasses, or long sleeves. Bring an appetite, the food was great as were the people.

Aj and the scenery were the highlights of the adventure. The downsides are: the horses seem unhealthy, not very well taken care of and the "ranch house" is more of a converted shed. No ac or running water. Which means no bathrooms or a way to cool down from the heat after the ride.

This was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Hector, Chencho, and Denny did an amazing job. It was a simple streamlined process from pickup to drop off. The handling of the horses, the path taken, and the amazing dinner second to none is definitely a must see and do when in the Las Vegas area!

Wow what an experience. We were picked up by Ajay and taken about 50 mins outside of Vegas. When we arrived we were greeted by Ceasar and the team. We had some time initially to ask questions, be introduced to everyone and an explanation of where we were going. It was very hot but they provided some water, would also recommend taking your own. They got each of us onto a horse, one of our party was very nervous around horse but they took things slow and made sure she was OK throughout the ride. Once on the trail it was beautiful. It was a slow walk but the horses followed each other and were calm. The views were outstanding and Ceasar went up and down the group chatting with everyone as we worked our way round the trail. When we returned Ajay had made the food which was also outstanding. We finished off with a bit of lasso. As we did the sunset ride, it was mow dark and we also spent sometime looking at the night sky and stars away from the light pollution. Perfect way to end the experience.
I would highly recommend this tour. Brilliant, outstanding, fantastic experience. Thank you to Ceasar and the team for making it a memorable experience!

This is an amazing experience, a fabulous afternoon/evening away from the Strip. Communication was great, and pick up was seamless. Once at the ranch Caesar looked after us and he was a brilliant host. Made sure everyone was ok and spent time with everyone whilst we were out riding. AJ cooked dinner which was very tasty, just what we needed after the ride. Lasso lessons were a fun end to the evening. We were not rushed to leave so were able to stay to watch the moon rise. Highly recommend

This was my mom’s and my second adventure with Wild West Adventures, and it was just as fantastic as the first. They picked us up right near our hotel, and the weather couldn’t have been better for our Sunset Horseback Ride and Dinner.
Because it was windy and dry, the campfire portion had to be canceled due to fire risk, but everything else more than made up for it. Dinner was freshly prepared for us after the ride—simple, delicious, and exactly what you’d expect on a working ranch. (And yes, with all the farm animals around, a few flies will absolutely join you for dinner.) Our driver even doubled as our chef, which added to the charm.
The horses were clearly well cared for and wonderfully behaved. I’d highly recommend this experience for beginners to intermediate riders. If you’re a more advanced rider, just know the pace stays at a walk—these are true trail horses trained to follow the leader.
Our guide, Hector, was awesome: funny, chatty, professional, and incredibly helpful. He even snapped some great photos for us on my phone.
After dinner, we got to meet some of the ranch animals. I loved getting to pet the goats, horses, and sheep—and holding a baby goat was the highlight of my night. It was such a memorable experience and absolutely worth the money.
Bring extra cash for tips. The whole team works hard, and they truly deserve it.

It was the perfect way to end our trip to vegas after a busy few days. Hector was amazing making sure guests were looked after Danny who did transfer and food was also amazing food was great. Great day out away from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas Strip, the drive is about 45 minutes but well worth it, driver very friendly and informative while getting to the ranch, The handlers made you feel welcome on arrival and gave their time to everyone on the ride, showing you how to handle the horse making it feel very safe, on the ride they gave you some history of the ranch and the area, they also took pictures with your own phone or camera while riding and also stopped to have some great pictures in couples. If you’ve never ridden a horse before like me and it’s on your list this trip is definitely worth it. At the end there was a bbq with steak or chicken, slightly rustic but what would you expect being in the middle of the desert, really tasty food with some apple pie for dessert. Again recommend this trip for first time riders. Cheers guys

They do a breakfast and dinner trip. We did the sunset one. The food was good and was ready when we got back. This was the best part of our Las Vegas trip!
