Meet your driver upon hotel pickup on the Las Vegas Strip to start your Wild West horseback riding adventure. Relax on the drive to a horse ranch, where professional wranglers match you with a horse suitable to your skill level.
After a safety briefing, head out on a horseback riding tour through the southern Nevada desert, following your experienced guide who ensures your comfort at all times.
During the horseback trail ride, you’re surrounded by gorgeous mountains and Joshua trees, silhouetted against the sunset. As dusk descends, marvel at the orange glow under open skies and, if you are lucky, you may spot bighorn sheep, roadrunners, jackrabbits, and other wildlife native to the desert outside Las Vegas.
On your return to the ranch, you’re served up a classic country-style dinner. Dig into your choice of chicken or steak (vegetarian option also available) accompanied by a baked potato, corn on the cob, rolls, and a slice of good old-fashioned apple pie.

First I want to say how impressed I was with the communication and organization prior to the experience. They contacted me letting me know where they were picking us up and even had a picture of the van and our hotel showing where he will be. They arrived on time and explained how long the drive would be to the ranch. Our driver told us about all the sights along our drive so it passed the time well. The ranch is so beautiful and the desert landscape did not disappoint. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely do it again.

Hector and the other farm guides are very helpful. The horses are well trained and know exactly what to do.
Allen our driver and cook, was very knowledgeable to the city and provided great hospitality. Dinner of steak, baked potato, corn on the cob, dinner roll and apple pie for dessert was the perfect ending

My daughter and I went for horseback riding and to see the sunset it was beautiful the guys were great the food was excellent they really made sure we had a good time. Allan was the cook and the driver. He's very good at both. Gecko was or Wrangler and guide to was very sweet and made sure we had fun the whole time

Horses are calm. Nothing faster than a walk so if you're looking for that fast, rodeo ride, this is not for you. That said the view and scenery are lovely and the staff friendly

The staff was super friendly. The food was great! If you’re looking for a horse race, this isn’t the place for you. But if you’re wanting to enjoy a scenic trip on horseback with a friendly staff and great food afterwards, you’ll not be let down! The staff was very respectful and accommodating. We were even running a couple minutes behind for the shuttle and they made sure to wait and we’re super respectful about it all.

This was a peaceful ride outside the city of Las Vegas. After being picked up in front of our hotel, we were driven 45 minutes out of town. Upon arriving we were briefed, sized and seated on our horses. The ride lasted about an hour and 15 minutes. Horses were well behaved and docile. We were served dinner afterwards meat (choice of chicken or steak), baked potato and corn on the cobb. Apple pie for dessert (store bought). Not the best meal I've ever eaten. The ranch hand finished the trip with a baby goat petting opportunity and some interactive lasso play.

The whole experience was run very smoothly, pick up to return was excellent. Alan our driver was very informative about Nevada and other subjects. You can purchase a cowboy hat- which was needed as it was quite warm & sunny on the day, and makes you look the part. The horses are matched to you and you are cared for the whole journey, with the cowboys checking in on you along the ride. It was steady, and enjoyable with great scenery! The food and drinks were all ready on return and was enjoyable. We had a chance of trying Lasooe which was fun! Chat to the Ranch cowboys and see the other animals. Overall a great day very pleased we did this trip.

The excursion was ok. A bit disorganized on the side of the wranglers and the scenery not anything very appealing. The horses were all over the place and the wranglers (two) didn't take much notice to help people control them. The driver/cook was good and the food, while nothing gourmet, was tasty.
We would pick another venue if we go back to Vegas.

They say they pick you up at your hotel, but make you go to another. Good explanation for new riders and help you along the trail. Would be nicer with going into the mountains, very flat land.

Regarding the terrain, our rides take place in the open desert landscape just outside of Las Vegas, which does feature wide, flat areas typical of the region. I came away feeling bad about the health of the horses and as a solo female I did not feel comfortable at all, the meal was an under cooked breast of chicken along with a corn on the cob and small potato, chef obviously feeling the heat off the barbecue.

First and foremost, the health and wellbeing of our horses is our top priority. They are family to us, not equipment. They receive regular veterinary care, proper nutrition, routine farrier service, and daily hands-on monitoring. We would never put a horse on the trail that is not fit, healthy, and ready to work. If you had specific concerns during your visit, we truly wish they had been brought to our attention at the time so we could address them directly.
We are also very concerned to hear that you did not feel comfortable. Creating a safe and welcoming environment for all guests — including solo travelers — is extremely important to us. We have hosted thousands of riders over the years, many of whom visit on their own, and their safety and comfort are something we take very seriously.
Regarding the meal, we cook outdoors in an authentic barbecue setting. Chicken is always prepared to proper food-safety temperatures. If anything appeared undercooked, we would have immediately replaced it had we been notified. We never want a guest leaving unsatisfied, especially over something that can be quickly corrected on site.

The experience was wonderful. Great staff, big meal, tour guide was good.
I had a older horse which didn’t move too well which was my only complaint. I thought maybe they gave it to me because I was one of the oldest riders in spite of me being comfortable with riding. So in short ask for a younger horse if you want to keep up with the pack.

I do want to touch on the horse assignment. We absolutely do not match horses based on a guest’s age. Our wranglers pair horses and riders based on safety, comfort level, experience, and overall group dynamics. Some of our older horses are actually our most seasoned and reliable partners on the trail — but they can sometimes have a slower, more relaxed pace.
That said, we always want our guests to have the best possible experience. If someone prefers a more forward-moving horse, we’re happy to accommodate whenever possible — just let us know before the ride and we’ll do our best to make it happen.

I could not agree more about the beauty of the southwest landscape. If is something out of a Dr. Suess book with all the funny shaped and prickly cacti. It is rugged, raw, and beautiful. The pickup was on time and exactly where Jason said it would be, our driver was denny, who is also the cook and entertainment ge was fun pleasant and engaging. On arrival we were introduced to Hector and Chenchal, who were the guides for the trail ride. Hector gave a very thorough orientation and mahe instructions clear and easy to understand. I had mare called sparkles who was calm with a cheeky spirit, and knew far more about riding than I did. The ride was relaxed, easy, and mind blowing. You could see yourself back in the days of the west, very quiet and incredible scenery. Tye rude kasyed about 90 minutes, them back to the ranch for a great meal, fun and animal interaction

Had a really great time. The staff were very friendly and personable. The horses were very calm and knew exactly where they were going. The horses they use are retired work horses and rescues. Pretty cool to give them a relaxing second chance.

The meeting point is not your hotel. It is by Caesars. It is about an hour ride out to the ranch. The horses walk single file. It is a very peaceful and pretty ride. It was a nice relaxing way to spend a Sunday.

After COVID and F1 disruptions that cause pop up construction zones sporadically, the strip is sectioned in quadrants logistically for complimentary shuttle service. To avoid prolonged delays and unnecessarily sitting in traffic you may be directed to nearby pickup points. In your circumstance, the closest pick up point to your hotel was Caesars Palace. Having said all that, I'm happy you enjoyed your trip with us.

💙 Riding horses at this Ranch was one of the most real & relaxing experiences ever.
🧡 It is in flat, wide open spaces. You can take in the countryside & breathe out there.!! (Especially if you're staying on the the strip)
🤎 The horses are well kept, and they all look solid & healthy.
💚 When they're not riding people around, they have gorgeous pastures to graze around in.
🩶They are neck reigned, gentle & VERY easy to manage.
👢The wranglers told each one's name as we got on & knew that horse's story. They displayed affection for their horses, not as just tools to make a buck, but as animals to be respected. No tiny paddocks here. They hang with llamas cows, lambs / goats .
📸 On The trail the guys took pics with our cameras- no need to share from others phones.
🤠 Then, when we returned, a Delicious dinner of steak or chicken with sides & warm apple pie was hot of the grill.
🏠This is a real deal, down to earth, working ranch - It's not a "Dude Ranch" w/ new boots & jeans. What it does have is real cowboys & real experiences. If you like that 😘 DO IT.
We would go back in a second❤️

Pick up by Denny, who was also a fabulous cook, was great. He gave bits of Vegas history and fun facts which made the ride more interesting. At the ranch we were assigned to horses and then lead on the tour by Gekko and a Spanish speaking gentleman whose name I can’t remember, Chanto maybe? The ride was very peaceful and the horses so well behaved. We watched the sunset as we were on our way back to the ranch and it was beautiful. Dinner was delicious and well prepared. We ate dessert by the campfire before loading up to head back to the city. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a little getaway from the noise and to enjoy the desert up close and personal

Gecko, Allen, and the third gentleman/ranch hand (so sorry, I didn’t get his name) were AMAZING. We let gecko know that I was nervous due to a childhood experience and he checked on me the entire ride. He ensured that all would be OK and even made jokes. By mid-ride, I felt comfortable and no longer scared.
The horses were beautiful and well-behaved. The meal was delicious!! I was so relieved to find that they had a veggie option.
I would 100% do this again with them. I will definitely recommend this experience to those who are visiting. And if I ever return to Vegas, I’ll be booking again!

We had an amazing time. Alan was our driver and chef. He was also a mini tour guide on the way to the ranch. We had a small group of 8 and the Geko was our guide along with another guy who's name I didn't catch. It was so peaceful in the desert and the horses were impeccably behaved. They are responsive to your aids as well. The baby goat is just the cutest and sitting on the bull would be fun for the kids to try as well. Thanks for a great ride and the picture stop on the way.

Loved this entire experience. Denny, our friendly driver and cook, got us all safely and on time to the ranch near Longdale, about 45minutes from Vegas. Upon arrival everything went smoothly and we were on our way within 30 minutes. As a newbie I definitely felt very safe in the hands of our guide, who explained very clearly how to handle the horse and what to do in various situations. Our pace was perfect and the ride itself was about 75 minutes, ending about 10 minutes before sunset. Along the way our guide talked a bit about the history and wildlife. There were 2 guides—one at the front, and the other at the rear. The trail was flat and smooth, perfect for beginners and those seeking a very relaxing ride and the surrounding hills and mountains made the view quite scenic against the setting sun. After a delicious bbq dinner we were invited to sit on a very docile bull and hold a baby goat. No regrets choosing this rustic cowboy adventure—it was the perfect antidote to the frenetic pace of Vegas. 🤠

We had never been horse riding before, the horses were very well behaved so it didn’t matter that we were beginners. All the staff were amazing. The bbq was great and overall we thought it was a great experience and would definitely do it again.
