Meet your driver-guide and small group at a central location in front of Denver’s Union Station at 8:15am to begin your tour. Board a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle and pass through Boulder as you drive to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Explore the park's natural wonders, taking a stroll around Bear or Sprague Lake, chosen based on conditions and preferences. First trip to Denver and visit to Rocky Mountain National Park. The park was beautiful and Alex our guide for the day was outstanding. He explained so much as we traveled to the park, through the park and then lunch at Estes Park. We saw elk, and moose and the views were spectacular. The tour was so much more interesting having a guide to explain so much and not having to drive ourselves through the mountains. Highly recommend this tour.

I would 100% do this again. Our tour guide, Alex does such an amazing job and showed us all the best places. It is a long day, but honestly, it doesn't feel like it at all. I learned so much and saw so many beautiful places, I would do it again.

This was a nice and easy day trip from Denver. We visited Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park, and the scenery was beautiful. The tour was well organized and gave us a good chance to see the area. Overall, a pleasant experience.

This was a wonderful tour. Lots of information and history shared by the guide. She (Anne) was also a great driver. Lunch at Penelope‘s in Estes Park was very good. We would’ve liked a little bit more time in Estes Park. We saw elk deer, Turkey, and moose. Overall, a great day.

We enjoyed this tour! Saw beautiful views and some wildlife - no moose though. I did not particularly enjoy Estes Park. I would have enjoyed more time in the National Park exploring vs. eating a very, very late lunch in Estes.

We completely understand wanting to spend every single second deep in the nature of the National Park, and we'd love to share a little context on why the day is structured that way. You caught us on our winter itinerary, and because Trail Ridge Road and many higher-elevation areas are closed for the season, there are very limited places we can physically access inside the park during the colder months.
We would absolutely love to invite you back for a summer tour! It’s a completely different experience—Trail Ridge Road is fully open, we spend the entire day exploring deep within the park, and we swap out the town lunch for a scenic picnic right inside the park itself. We hope to host you again under the summer sun!
The day started at union station and for awhile did not know if the guide was going to show up. When time came, two guides popped out, split people into two group and led us to the van.
PRO TIP: try avoiding the most back row if you have long legs or any stress with mobility. Because once you sit there, the seat is assigned and you will have to deal with being cramped in a tighter space. And you basically are always the last one to get off. This was one of the biggest cons.
Moving on, the tour itself was great. We stopped by a cafe on the way to and back, for food and bathroom breaks, and pretty soon, the van took us to the Rocky Mountain with beautiful views and even saw many wildlife - the big horn sheep, elk, deer (i think), and, not to forget, smaller animals like birds, mouse, and chipmunks, but no moose spotted. Nonetheless, the breathtaking view of the Rockies is certainly worth the journey. The guide was very knowledgeable about trees and shared many stories about the places and tips for visiting Denver in general! She also took us to a few Native American owed stores that featured indigenous art that were very cool to see.
One thing to note is that I think the Colorado Sightseer, the tour company, had listed at least two slightly different itineraries, and I might have been sent to the one I did not pick. I noticed because I intentionally picked the tour with visits to two visitor centers, vs the one I went on only took us to Beaver Meadows. Not a big deal bc I did get still get my stamp, and the tour used most of the day's time efficiently by visiting many attractions. But this might be something you want to make sure if the stops matter a lot to you. Nonetheless, with a group tour, it is understandable and expected for the itinerary to potentially change. For instance, the day I went, the tour guide actually too us to visit places in different order to avoid crowds.
Another thing to really appreciate is that the tour provided some snacks, extra gloves/beanies, which were really a lifesaver in the cold mountains. I know I was not fully prepared for it and so glad I could borrower some!

The Pickup: Our guides usually time their arrival at Union Station to the exact minute to comply with strict transit loading rules, but we hear you on that 'where is my guide?' anxiety! We’ll look into ways to make our presence felt a few moments earlier so our guests can wait with peace of mind.
The Back Row: You are spot on—the back row is definitely for the nimble! We keep seating consistent throughout the day to ensure efficient boarding at every stop, but we always encourage guests with mobility or height concerns to let our guides know at the very first boarding so we can prioritize the front rows for you.
The Itinerary & Order of Stops: You noticed our guide switched things up, and that was actually by design. We empower our guides to adjust the order of stops in real-time based on traffic, crowd levels, and—most importantly—where wildlife is most active at that hour. Regarding the specific stops, we visit one Visitor Center (an 'either/or' choice) to maximize your time out in nature. Since third-party sites like TripAdvisor sometimes 'automate' our itineraries, we always recommend checking the official Colorado Sightseer website for the most accurate details.
The 'Lifesaver' Gear: We are so glad the extra hats, gloves, and jackets came in handy! Mountain weather can change in a heartbeat, and we make it a point to keep a stash of warm gear on board specifically for those chilly high-elevation stops. We never want a lack of a beanie to stand in the way of a great view!

Take a backpack, wear comfortable shoes. Make sure your phone is charged because you will be taking tons of photos. This tour is breathtaking and our guide Ben was very knowledgeable.

Very cool. Learned a lot and saw a lot of wildlife. Only downside is it felt a little rushed. Especially in Estes. Could have spent more time here.

This was a fabulous day out. If you want a quick and concise introduction to the Ro ky National Park and surrounding areas this is your ride. Our guide was Stephen. His knowledge and passion for the region, and everything outdoorsy was evident. Stephen kindly offered regular water top ups and snacks, and was really well.prepared for the wintery weather with additional traction devices for his less prepared travellers. He also had a wonderful sense of humour, which made the bus time fly! 10/10!
