Our guide, Jason, was amazing! This experience was likely the highlight of our entire vacation. He expertly guided us through the Antler Creek area stopping often to point out edible berries, plants, and lichen, as well as signs of wildlife in the area. We had a chance to taste all the berries, plants, and even lichen that was in season.
Jason was able to read our group well to know if he should make the hike longer or shorter, easier or harder. We felt quite accomplished when we finished! I highly recommend this experience.

The hike was great! It was an easy hike reaching some beautiful peaks. Along the way our guide, Jade, showed us many of the plants and flowers of the region and educated us on which plants were edible as well as information about the local wildlife. Jade was as much entertaining as factual which made for both a fun and interesting hike. Would definitely recommend!

This tour is a must if you want to understand the nature around you. Step away from trails and immerse yourself in the deep woods, rocks, berries and moss. Our guide Jade explaind us everything about permafrost and its fauna and flora. His knowledge and enthusiasm is amazing. This was absolutely one of the higlights of our stay in and around Denali! We highly recommend taking this hiking tour! It was incredibly fun and informative. Eating wild blueberries and other edible plants, following the moose trails and learning about the wildlife in the area was great. Jason was our guide. He was very knowledgable, interesting and kept us entertained and laughing for the whole hike. Be sure to add this to your itinerary.

Jason was a brilliant guide on our hike. He was very knowledgeable as he guided us through the wilderness. The hike it’s self was not overly long but covered some great spots and we enjoyed the fabulous scenery on offer.

Guide was knowlegeable and friendly. Entire tour was 3 and 1/2 hours door to door and not the 4 hours advertised. Despite leaving early, our guide/driver did not pull over to observe a moose sighting.
I thought the tour was significantly overpriced at $199. A $100 more appropriate for the time actually spent in nature which was about 2 and 1/2 hours.

Hi Todd! We are so so sorry that you didn't have the best tour with us. Because you didn't feel like your tour was exceptional, I have given you our guarantee - your money back plus $100.
We have also taken your criticisms to heart. We have instituted a policy for guides to ask if our clients want to turn around for any and all moose sightings.
I'm sorry that you didn't end up getting the full 4 hours. We had multiple drop offs that day, and the next one after you was far away. We want to get everyone back to their hotels by the tour's stated end time. People often have things planned after their tour, and we want to make sure they don't miss them.
With that said, we've found a way to use a second driver to avoid these issues with distant pick ups and drop offs in the future.
I know that none of that changes the fact that you took time out of your vacation with us and were disappointed. I sincerely hope the $100 on top of your refund will help make it right. And the knowledge that we have put systems in place to make sure no one else has the issues you had in the future.

We had a great time trying different kinds of berries, leaves, and even a lichen! Our guide, Jordan, was great. We would recommend this as a great way to get outside and experience the natural area and learn more about the oval flora.

Trinidad our guide was great. Very informative about plants and trees in Denali. I would recommend to wear pants and bring bug spray. We walked through a lot of brush not on open path. Loved the tour!
