- Denali (Mt. McKinley) is 80 miles away from our airstrip. Weather conditions at the Mountain will often be different from those in our area. Please feel free to call for the current pilot’s reports but know that we do not make decisions based on weather until about an hour before flight time. We will always send a driver to pick-up locations with the most up-to date information at the allotted pick-up times. Exact route and specific sights are weather dependent but due to our airstrip's unique location, we are able to access either side of the Alaska Range when others cannot. We have the highest success rate of showing Denali to our guests of any tour option, anywhere.

It was amazing! There was an earthquake that caused an avalanche at the exact moment we were flying by. It was amazing to see Denali from the skies. I appreciated the entirely different view of the Denali peaks. I also appreciated the focus on safety.

The pilot and Denali Air are great! The weather was tremendous, a smooth flight. The pilot took us right up to Denali. The rest of the trip was narrated and he spotted multiple Sheep and Caribou.
We were in the lead plane and he got us close to multiple sights.
Photo options were endless and he would let us know what was coming and then tip the wing for even better views for photos.
Denali was amazing and had very few light clouds that seemed to leave when we got close.
They picked us up at the Denali Chalet and returned us included in the price of the flight.

Not for those with any fear of flying! Expect it to be a very bumpy ride for most of the way round for over an hour. If you can stomach the up and down and side to side you get to see the best views of the mountain range and mount Denali. It really is breath-taking, a once in a lifetime experience. The views of the glaciers and mountains were absolutely outstanding. Thanks to the very skilled pilot for guiding us throughout. We did enjoy it and got some magic photos. Thank you Denali Air!

Great experience. Probably the best excursion I’ve ever done. The Denali Air team was awesome. Pilot Chris did a great job flying us around the mountains and getting us into the 30% club. We had clear skies and a smooth ride throughout.

One of the best experiences throughout our travels in Alaska. The pilot was very friendly with calm, soothing demeanor, explaining, describing and storytelling during our flight. The views were absolutely stunning, we took over 400 pictures and we're told they look like from National Geographic. Well worth experiencing, we can recommend 100%.

Don’t be disappointed if you can’t see the peak. All the routes are great. We flew over several glaciers and a couple rivers and loved it.

Pilot Bob got us to the peak of Denali quickly, flew above the clouds and spent around 15 minutes flying around the peak of Denali. He had a great informative narration running. He added many other great facts about the mountains. Great experience!!

The pilot was very professional and knowledgeable, as well as a great pilot. He flew us to Denali and around the mountain range, pointing out details like climbers acclimating to begin their assent and others already on their way. He also had a relaxing playlist when he wasn’t commenting. It was clear, we were lucky to see Denali.

Our group really enjoyed seeing Denali and the Alaskan Range by plane. Our pilot Brian was pointing out lots of different locations and had plenty of knowledge of the area. We were a little nervous when leaving the air strip because of rain but once we were up in the air the views were breathtaking. Highly recommend you take trip when in Denali.

This was fabulous. A bit bumpy, but the pilot warned us of that. We could not see Denali peak but we got as close to the glaciers as you can without walking on them.
Well worth the money, and would do it again in a minute! Pilot was great- 77 years old and has alot of experience!
