- Denali (Mt. McKinley) is 80 miles away from our airstrip. Weather conditions at the Mountain will often be different from those in our area. Please feel free to call for the current pilot’s reports but know that we do not make decisions based on weather until about an hour before flight time. We will always send a driver to pick-up locations with the most up-to date information at the allotted pick-up times. Exact route and specific sights are weather dependent but due to our airstrip's unique location, we are able to access either side of the Alaska Range when others cannot. We have the highest success rate of showing Denali to our guests of any tour option, anywhere.

It is professionally run, safe, and so awesome! The best view of Denali. The sun even popped out when we flew around the faces of the mountain. We were moved to tears. If you do nothing else, do this excursion!
The trip was very nice with everything being organized and crisp. The pilot was friendly and narrated the trip and even pointed out a female moose as we were on our return trip.
We learned about the history of Denali National Park and the mountain while viewing the gorgeous glaciers and mountain tops.
Spend the money and you will not regret it! Great flight through the Denali Valley and into the mountains to McKinley (Denali) Peak...

Nothing can compare to seeing the highest peaks in Denali from above! I was a little scared at first, as we took off and headed into the park, but that was quickly replaced by feelings of awe and fascination. The park is immense and you can really see this from the air. We flew around & between the peaks, and over several glaciers not visible from the ground. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. The pilot pointed out all the major sites and several groups of Dall sheep grazing way up high. It’s a must do & a great complement to the bus tour.
An incredible experience to see the expanse of this magnificent mountain! Sunny skies, smooth flying and a knowledgeable pilot made this worth every penny!
Best excursion of the trip! Worth every penny. The picked us up at our lodge, were on time, and everything went smoothly. The flight was something we’ll always remember. Bright sunny day, great pilot and closer to the mountain than I ever imagined. Everyone gets a window seat too.
Our flight with Seth was incredible! The views were breathtaking! I was a bit nervous just for general purposes but once in the air and seeing Denali from the air it was like you could almost reach out and touch it. The history and stories that were provided made the excursion even more exciting. Yes it is a bit pricey but it was a once in a lifetime experience that made a lasting memory! Do IT!
We were supposed to fly yesterday but since the weather wasn’t that great they gave us the option for today instead. Holy cow, did we luck out! This experience was amazing! I will remember it for the rest of my life! Got tons of pictures and memories! A must do if you can!

This flight exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it. Our pilot, Dan, described what we were seeing all during the flight. There was a cloud layer which he stayed beneath for a ways then we popped up through the clouds to see Denali in all its glory. We flew all around the mountain and Dan was sure that passengers on both sides of the plane could see everything as we passed back and forth.
Once in a lifetime opportunity to get a 200 mile trip around Denali up close without mountain climbing to experience this tallest majestic mountain in North America.
Great views of Denali and surrounding area. Small plane, professional pilot, but the ride could be bumpy depending on conditions. If you’re sensitive to motion, take Dramamine or other precautions. Views are worth it!
AWESOME EXPERIENCE!! Be sure to tighten your seatbelt tighter than you think you need to; the air is choppy up there. Very professional pilot and friendly staff. Unbelievable views😍
Great customer service. Great flight. The highlight of our Denali trip. Worth every penny. It was raining on the ground but we were able to fully above the clouds and see all of Denali.
While the weather looked iffy we took off (8 passengers plus pilot) as we flew towards Denali we got above the clouds and the sites were awesome. Our pilot was the best and took us around mountain peaks and tremendous glaciers below. While the peak of Denali remained hidden in the clouds everything else was breath taking. This was a great experience and highly recommend.

It was amazing! There was an earthquake that caused an avalanche at the exact moment we were flying by. It was amazing to see Denali from the skies. I appreciated the entirely different view of the Denali peaks. I also appreciated the focus on safety.

The pilot and Denali Air are great! The weather was tremendous, a smooth flight. The pilot took us right up to Denali. The rest of the trip was narrated and he spotted multiple Sheep and Caribou.
We were in the lead plane and he got us close to multiple sights.
Photo options were endless and he would let us know what was coming and then tip the wing for even better views for photos.
Denali was amazing and had very few light clouds that seemed to leave when we got close.
They picked us up at the Denali Chalet and returned us included in the price of the flight.

Not for those with any fear of flying! Expect it to be a very bumpy ride for most of the way round for over an hour. If you can stomach the up and down and side to side you get to see the best views of the mountain range and mount Denali. It really is breath-taking, a once in a lifetime experience. The views of the glaciers and mountains were absolutely outstanding. Thanks to the very skilled pilot for guiding us throughout. We did enjoy it and got some magic photos. Thank you Denali Air!
Great experience. Probably the best excursion I’ve ever done. The Denali Air team was awesome. Pilot Chris did a great job flying us around the mountains and getting us into the 30% club. We had clear skies and a smooth ride throughout.
One of the best experiences throughout our travels in Alaska. The pilot was very friendly with calm, soothing demeanor, explaining, describing and storytelling during our flight. The views were absolutely stunning, we took over 400 pictures and we're told they look like from National Geographic. Well worth experiencing, we can recommend 100%.
