We booked the Firework Boat Ride expecting an amazing view of the fireworks, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations. The majority of the tour focused on introducing the buildings along the Chicago River, which felt more like an architecture cruise than a fireworks experience. When the fireworks started, we were too far away to capture good photos, and the boat continued to move during the show, which made it hard to enjoy the display. In total, we only got about five minutes of a clear fireworks view. It just wasn’t what we were hoping for.

The fireworks were awesome lasting about 10 minutes. Nice to be on the boat. Worst experience was the stairs when you get off to exit to the street, couldn’t find elevators. And the entrance and parking are a bit hard to find. But the cruise and definitely worth the money.
