We had a great time with Anthony. Riding the electric bikes made the tour more fun and less work. It was nice to see part of the city from a different view.

MISSED COMMUNICATIONS

Conflicting directions on the app for where to arrive and meet up. One address was a parking garage. The description said to find them near the Buckingham fountain; which was not near the 411 E Erie St meeting place. Yes, I went to both places and back to the first place about 12:50 to find no bikes or group or indication of a bike ride. Thus, I requested a full refund which I hope was granted. I have used Viator for many excursions and this was a famous first. Instead of accepting the confusion of two different sets of directions of where to meet up; I was found at fault for leaving the first location (the parking garage). My suggestion; arrive early and read everything in advance.

Anthony was a wonderful guide! We had limited time for sightseeing, so this was the perfect tour to see the lake front highlights. The bikes were comfortable, easy to use, and cute!

We booked this activity through trip advisor. Received my booking confirmation notifications, etc. We reported to the Buckingham Fountain meeting area at the specified time and found no bike station or tour representative. Called representative phone number a few times and finally made contact with Anthony(?), who apologized and reported that no one was available to give the tour. He stated that their operation was shut down for that week and that Viator should not have assigned us a tour for that date. He offered other options with other vendors, but since we were spending our last hours in Chicago, this was of no value to us. He did offer us a refund and I received notice of same. It would have been nice to receive an advanced notice of a cancellation, however.
