I had called ahead of time regarding tickets in which they said the time you book doesn’t matter, they are accommodating with any time you show up. i tried to go for valentine’s day to which i encouraged traffic and i had bought my tickets to which i was denied at the door. I called the office to which they apologized and told me to contact viator because they don’t have access to rescheduled appointments that’s not through their website. I contacted Viator 4 times to which there’s been no resolution, no reschedule, no refund, nothing. I am in distraught because i genuinely wanted to go here with my partner and no one had told me they stop entry at a certain time. maybe i read past it im not sure but im very upset.

Was a great time at the aquarium, I did not go early enough as some things was closing, closes early for a Friday nite. But was a nice place the seal shoe was great

I haven't been to the Aquarium since elementary school. I arrived 15 minutes before the doors opened on a Sunday so I was able to find local parking. The line to enter was quick. Once inside its broken up into sections. The show with the seals stole the show and then you were able to go underground to see them up close swimming in their habitat. I'm happy I went as early as I did because by the time I left there were kids showing up in masses. Coney Island has definitely changed but there was a police precinct down the block- my guess is for the tourists protection.
All in all I think it was a good value for the money spent.

Had a great time at the New York aquarium in Coney Island, New York. They do a great job. The place was clean. The staff was attentive and the displays were spectacular. The only challenge was we expected sea turtles which were not there. A great time and worth every penny.

Awful there is not space there, not parking lot we can even go inside and lost many hours trying so this place is a never again for me

Sea lion show was lovely.
The shark area was awesome as well. It was packed and a lot of kiddos running around but we had a great experience

The attraction was easy to reach using public transit, and check-in went extremely quickly. Before going in, you see a route to the boardwalk, which is a sight to see. Going into the aquarium, they have a lot of sea life with about five different zones, two gift shops, and a 4D Theater. It's a great place to escape NYC!

While I was expecting a bit more, I enjoyed watching the sea lions. The workers were feeding them, and once they were done the worker told them to go back into the water, and they went happily.

Not too much to see, aquarium needs more exhibitions , not enough food and activities.

Great aquarium when all the exhibits are open. Parking lot closes after aquarium does which is great if you want to got to the Coney Island beach and boardwalk.

I really enjoyed the Sea Lions exhibition. I was really amazed at how well the animals followed instruction. I was in awe. The music was great. I really had a good time overall at the New York Aquarium in Coney Island.

Great little aquarium. Not huge but we are glad we took the 1 hour subway to get to it. Conveniently on the Coney Island Boardwalk

The aquarium was great and the access to the board walk was pretty cool, but I recommend parking outside. The parking for the Aquarium is a scam.

I felt it neglected in deterioration, 5 years ago I visited it it was 8 out of 10, today 5 out of 10. The photos on the web 10 out of 10. but the place is not what their website advertises. They need more secure support. the place is neglected.

One of the most amazing aquariums regarding the sharks there, both my mom and I have ever seen here in New York. The sea lion and penguin exhibits, were cool to see. The underwater view option, was fun and a sight to behold at times. The Aquarium Theater regarding the talented sea lions there, was creatively scripted, and fun to watch too. The food selection at the Sea Side Cafe’ was decent but a bit expensive. The table we had the only option to choose from had a tray with the left over garbage on it and the table wasn’t properly cleaned by the workers there, and some of the tables were very wobbly so it was tricky to sit and eat comfortably there intermittently. Other than that, everything else was good. The staff were all for the most part cool and helpful with things regarding information etc.
