Nice and calm.. I appreciated the tour guy who did the narration. People were getting along while enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean, other boats carrying other people, who were waving at us. Very grateful that we took the trip and came back safely. Thanks to the person driving the ship and all the others who work along to make sure all went well. I recommend taking a ride with Sunset Cruise

It was a great experience. Each monument was beautifully narrated and the staff was very warm & welcoming

The tour is not that interesting. The boat bar is not fully stocked so not very nice drinks wines or beers. The boat is very tatty and not comfortable.

We had a lovely boat tour of the Boston Harbor. We met several friendly travelers and talked and visited during the tour. Weather was great. Very nice sunset. Nice boat and amenities.
Sandeep_G, Oct 2025
Excellent experience of cruise. Very well organised, crew was very courteous. On board bar was also excellent
Kristy_P, Oct 2025
Not enough narrative
Telling you what things are. No one to answer questions . Not very informative.
IennekeD_S, Oct 2025
We end up didn’t go, we stuck in traffic from Acadia national park.
Called the customer service, and the guy I talk too , said it should not be any problem and we should get our money back, but we didn’t

We had a wonderful cruise in the Boston Harbor on Sep 28, 2025. The weather was perfect, loved the boat and the narrator was very good.
Christina_C, Oct 2025
We arrived as scheduled
No seating no chairs
Obviously overbooked and Sam was unwilling to accommodate
Had to spend the whole 90 minutes attending
Disappointing
Susan_C, Sep 2025
The boat was overcrowded. There was no space to sit and see the sights for the entire 90 min cruise. Difficult to move around so only saw one side as we stood on rail for entire trip.
The narrator was very difficult to hear so I'm not even sure it was informative

This sunset cruise is an older and somewhat worn down faux steamboat. But it was a slow, relaxing float around the harbor watching the sun set and Boston’a skyline light up. It was nice after the fast pace of all of our other activities
Collette_C, Sep 2025
This was a lovely way to see Boston. For the best view - get there early so you can sit on the upper deck. Doors open 30 minutes before sail.
Ken_H, Sep 2025
Great commentary. Wished they would have left on time to truly see the sun set and also have more chairs on the top deck. But well worth the money!!
Sondra_L, Sep 2025
Pack a rain poncho just in case, weather does change quickly. The guide and the cruise were really nice, Boston is beautiful at twilight.
Tanuj_J, Sep 2025
Our family just loved this beautiful cruise. The staff was super friendly and the Boston skyline was simply amazing.
Penny_B, Sep 2025
What a beautiful sunset…we were blessed to have amazing weather and enjoy a vividly colorful skyline! We highly recommend this cruise to see Boston Harbor as the sun sets over the city!
Patrick_M, Sep 2025
There was very little narrating. He only talked three times and was hard to hear or understand. We learned more from the boat that was near us in the waterway.
Kathleen_W, Sep 2025
Beautiful ride in the harbor with magnificent views of Boston, Cambridge and Charlestown bed, during and after sunset. However, it’s a large boat, perhaps holding 400 people. Therefore, there is lots of chatter which makes it difficult to hear the narrated tour. Also alcoholic beverages are overpriced.

After having experienced multiple city’s harbor cruise tours, my husband and I have determined that this one will probably be our last. The architecture in the harbor leans towards soulless behemoth buildings and industrial outcroppings—neither of which are particularly sightly. Although… the city skyline was pretty, and the occasional sail boat against the sunset was nice. On this Boston harbor tour, the guide narrator was fine enough, but we’ve had overall better harbor tours with smart jokes and good humor that made you laugh along the way. This one was just straightforward and a bit dry.

This was our 2nd time on the sunset cruise. This time, it was a smaller boat. It was a bit crowded & harder to take pictures without others in them. The crew were nice and informative and the cruise/views were wonderful.
JAMES_O, Aug 2025
It’s worth skipping . Pick another option. Trolley or haunted tour . The narration was lackluster and minimal.
melissa_m, Aug 2025
Could not attend. Wreck vehicle on the way to boat. Very disappointing and wasted time plus money. Requesting refund
Kristin_H, Aug 2025
very little fact narration, most of the time spent identifying other cruise ship and hearing about the encore shuttle. not much distance covered. took an extra 20 minutes for them to even be able to dock the boat. don’t waste your money.
Melissa_G, Aug 2025
Fun river boat tour of Boston. Sunset cruise gets to see the city by sunlight and then by lights. Also get to see the canon fired. Bartenders were great.
Miguel_G, Aug 2025
There is not an exact time of boarding and departure my cruise left before scheduled time worst experience ever , I have seen whale watch cruises and never had that problem
Response from Host, Aug 2025
Hi Miguel, I am sorry this happened. We do not have a female front desk worker so I'm not sure who you spoke with. Also, our sunset cruise is scheduled for 7:00pm, not 7:30 - is it possible you were not at the correct location? All of the boat companies near by have sunset cruises.
If you have any further information, please call our office at 617-542-8000.
Thank you

Fun! Really worth it going. People at the back of the boat couldn’t hear, so they fixed the situation & then checked in with us. Very polite response, & grateful they made it so we could hear!
KorahSchroeder_S, Aug 2025
It was super good! Get a seat in the front of the boat and bring a jacket for night cruises. Such a fantastic time!! The microphone was a little quiet in some parts of the ship.
Roberto_S, Aug 2025
The trip was awesome, very little noise from the engine, the narration was a nice touch, drinks were good. No music or dancing, a bit quite.
Sally_R, Aug 2025
The harbor was lit with a summer breeze in the air as we enjoyed delicious cocktails aboard our cruise to see the vibrant sky as we saw the U.S.S. Constitution fire a cannon by sunset during our tour! Fabulous!
Louise_P, Aug 2025
Boarding was seamless. Boat equipped with a full bar, indoor & outdoor seating. It was a cloudless evening, beautiful sunset. enjoyable to be on the water & to see Boston harbor from a different vantage point. We sat on the top for best viewing ( at the rear). Sadly, the volume of narration was so low & crowd conversations loud so we could not hear any of the presentation. Disappointed.
