This was a really fun experience! We went with a few co-workers and some family for an evening outing and it was a nice, relaxing way to see the water, the bats and the buildings!

Making sure the pick up location is clear. Our pick up location as a coffee shop and there was more than one in the surrounding the area. We lost twenty minutes before connecting to the tour guide. If you want an indepth experience of the city, this is not the tour for you. Because the 45 minute driving arouse is not enough to do that. You have to get to the boat at least fifteen minute before the tuor started to get good seats for the whole family. The bats are very small and you may need to bring along binoculars to see them. They are nothing like the picture on the website. You may be able to see them better if standing on the bridge. The boat was not able to get close to the brudge due to many kayaks around us. On the plus side, the 2 guy named Mike was very knowledgeable of the city and the US history. He was very friendly.

It was unfortunate that we were rained out. We did take the “van” tour in which I was not impressed with. We didn’t get an opportunity to do the boat sunset cruise which I was excited about due to rain. It cost us $198 and we were only reimbursed $35:( that was a really low reimbursement. The guy couldn’t make it make sense.

John was such a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. He was so helpful answering all of my questions. I also saw tons of bats on the boat ride which was just amazing. Great tour! Make sure to ask for John as your guide.

Mike was very knowledgeable and told us about the dynamics of Austin culture. But the city tour was not really that impressive. We parked across from the capitol and heard some about it. Passed the bridges and parks. Drove up in the hills to see where the rich folks live and walked out to an overlook. We didn't see the mural. The boat part of the tour was provided by a separate company and there were a lot more people than seven. The boat and bats were wonderful - by far the best part and they are available separately for a significantly lower cost. Overall the city tour was not even nearly worth the cost. Better to Uber out and do a separate boat and bats tour.

JD picked us up at a local hotel and took us on a short driving tour (there was a lot of traffic so we skipped some stops on the way to ensure we got to the bat boat tour on time). Informative. And friendly. The bat boat tour was a highlight of our day in Austin. After, our guide made reservations for us at a local restaurant and dropped us there instead of back at the hotel. Fun evening.

Our tour guide, John, was on time picking us up at our hotel. He was great fun and was a former high school Texas history teacher. He had a bunch of juicy backstories and we throughly enjoyed our time with him. The boat tour was also fun. We saw a great show by the bats and our very tall boat cruise director was charming and well informed.

Some of the information was not clear but the driver was very prompt and made sure we were taken care of. His knowledge of Austin was good and our driving experience was good. He gave us a lot of good information and took us around some good places and I’m in Austinite, but I learned some things. Our driver was funny and fun. The other people in the group were friendly and we had a good time.

Mike was awesome!! He knew so much about Austin and pointed out a ton of things around the capitol and by the lake. Lots of good history nuggets too! He really was thoughtful about making sure everyone on either side of the boat got to see the bats. So enjoyable and highly recommend!

Very informative!!👍 Mike is incredible!! He’s a world of knowledge. I thought I was going on a 2.5 hour boat ride. Mike was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We saw a lot of bats and it was great. EXCEPT when we just started our adventure there weee two large boats with tons of people each. We had turned around and was headed back towards the bridge. One of the large boats was heading towards us so Mike stopped so he could pass. The kid driving it was a rude punk. He turned and headed right into us on purpose. He hit us and the said you know the bigger boat wins. A total jerk. A young punk in a blue shirt. He was horrible. We all heard Mike say we are going to hold up here and let him pass. The jerk then turned right into us. Mike did great.

Mike was such a cool & informative guide. Pretty cool experience. We got to see the bats come out at the park, but couldn't do the boat cruise due to the tragedy caused by the flooding across Central Texas & Texas Hill Countries. I'll like to send my deepest condolences, prayers & well-wishes to all families who lost loved ones & all those who've been impacted during this hard time...

Hotel pickup was super convenient. Mercedes Van was comfortable and great A/C! Mike, our guide, was down to earth and friendly. He taught us about the local area as we drove around before boarding the boat closer to sunset. Only 6 of us in the group so boat was spacious and comfortable. Definitely recommend traveling with SeeSights because their boat has a cover overhead to prevent any bat guano from dropping on us! Casual, laid back evening with excellent views of the emerging bats!! Loved every minute. Highly recommend!!

It was a wonderful little tour of the city in a van and a spectacular view of the city and architecture from the water. The bat show was totally amazing. It's so cool to watch them all start to fly under the bridge. I highly recommend it.

Not worth 100 each they put us in a boat that cost 14 each that was the main attraction , the guide was super nice but , I won’t do it again I would just book the boat cruise for 14 and u er back and forth to the hotel and it will still be a lot cheaper

This trip was sold as a night tour & bat boat cruise, but it was more like a cab to the boat a little bit of information on the way. It was hardly a tour of Austin. The boat cruise was very short. Seeing the bats was an amazing experience. The description of the trip was misleading & over priced
