Great tour of the Capital building. Learned interesting facts about the building and stare of Texas. Joseph was very knowledgeable. He was also on time and accommodating for my friend who could not walk a lot. Also loved the authentic Mexican tacos he gave us. Great tour guide who made the trip even better.

We scheduled our tour for 12:30. No one showed up and we were outside in the cold. It took 2 calls to discover they had no driver available. Ruined our day plan. Requested we push it yo 4 pm but already had other plans scheduled. Still awaiting for refund. Will never book with company again.

We were downtown so we were picked up at the hotel, that was great and Victoria our tour guide was on time, and very informative. It was only 4 of us, so it felt very private. We made stops in/out and enjoyed the tour

My spouse and I were the only guests on the tour, and we had such a fantastic experience with our guide Michael and his teammates, Charles and Bimmy. They were all incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and friendly, which made the tour even more enjoyable. We had a lot of fun together, learned so much, and truly appreciated their kindness — they even treated us to lunch! Highly recommend this tour and the amazing team behind it.

Tour was short and brief. We were picked up 1 hour and 44 minutes later. The tour lasted one hour not the 3 Ibpais for as in the description. The tour guide Michael(Mike) was very brief and rushed

While my tour guide was wonderful, we definitely didn’t go to very many of the places it says that you will go to. For the amount of money you are paying, you should be able to expect to see everything listed and we did not. Mount Bonnell was wonderful but never got to Barton Springs or the Pennybacker bridge and the tour was done early and started late. Not worth the amount of money for the trip.

We did not have a good experience on this tour. Our guide, who never even introduced herself so I can't tell you who to avoid, only stopped at the capital. The rest of the tour was in a car, no stops anywhere. No Mount Bonnell, no nothing. We could have rented a car and done our own thing much cheaper as the capital offers free tours. Don't waste your time with this. I put a complaint in with viator but I doubt they will do the right thing and return my money. Our 3 hour tour was an hour and a half with probably 40 minutes of it at the capital.

This is an amazing way to learn the history and see the beauty of Austin. John's knowledge historical knowledge in general is simply astonishing. He has such a pleasant personality and takes pride in making sure you're questions are answered... not to mention he took us to get some of the best tacos ever! Thank you for a wonderful tour!

The guide was friendly and flexible. He sent a text to me to let me know he had arrived to pick us up at our hotel. He arrived about 15 minutes before the official start time of the tour. When booking the tour, you can specify a pick up at your hotel if it is not too far away from the downtown area. The guide gave us a nice mini-history of Texas, an excellent tour of the Texas Capitol building, and showed us many aspects of it you wouldn’t likely find by yourself. It is quite an impressive building with a lot of history about it. We were also given a tour of various areas and neighborhoods. The guide was also able to answer many questions about restaurants and other entertainment. The tour was worth the money.

I wish I had known that I could get a free tour of the capital at the capital building so that the tour operator could show us more things around Austin. For example, I never saw an art museum. A science museum. Period maybe there’s not more to see.

John had knowledge of Texas but couldn’t focus on what the tour was suppose to be about and talked way too much, and about himself. Didn’t know the way to places listed, directionally challenged. Couldn’t find where places were and didn’t know the correct names of things to get us where we were going. Unfortunately not a pleasant experience.
