Two years ago we participated in a food and tour event in Mobile Alabama.
That was a tour that included in the cost samples from a number of different restaurants in downtown Mobile
We thought this was going to be a similar experience but it was different which was disappointing
Perhaps we missed that when we read the material.
Tyler did a good job showing us around downtown Austin

Great tour of austin and our guide Tyler was exceptional!! Our family from out of town learned so much about austin. We will be back to do again with future company in town. There is no other place like austin and this tour made us appreciate the city even more.

My teenage son and I were the only ones on our afternoon walking tour with Tyler. He was friendly, knowledgeable, takes pride in Austin, and paced the tour just right for us. Our fave parts were the walk along the water (even though there was a lot of noisy construction all around), stepping into the historic Driscoll Hotel, and the most delicious hidden taco restaurant we would have never stumbled upon without Tyler (Taqueria de Diez). He answered all our questions, had some good stories, and made sure there wasn’t anything we still wanted to know about before the tour ended. We asked for an ice cream shop recommendation and he suggested Amy’s Ice Creams (where my son and I walked after our tour and it was another superb place!) Thank you, Tyler for an awesome Austin tour.

Our tour guide showed up 5 minutes late, did not wear the tour co shirt. Told us he had texted that he was late, which he had not. He was someone substituting for an actual tour guide. Jake did not know that the bar at the end of the tour is closed for reno. Don’t waste your money! Buy a book, walk around town and save $100

Our tour guides are thoroughly trained to be at the departure point early, in Company gear, and with great attitudes. Not to mention, fully aware of which buildings are open or closed.
At walking tours of Austin we take each review into consideration and have looked into this situation. We have made changes to assure it will not happen again.

Our Downtown Austin Private Walk with Tyler was great. He is a deeply knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. We enjoyed learning about many characters in Austins’s history while visiting several historical places. We experienced a lot of the local color and really appreciated how Tyler’s depth of knowledge allowed him to make quite a few recommendations on visit worthy restaurants and local attractions. During a lovely walk along the river, he shared some fascinating Austin lore. We also explored the local food truck scene and culminated our tour at the historic Driskill Hotel.

Jake was our guide and he was wonderful! Made it interesting and entertaining at the same time. Learned a lot of history, and visited many one of a kind spots we would have never known about otherwise just walking around. He took good care of us and was very professional while also being fun.
