I’ve been on several ghost tours before and typically it’s an entertaining experience and great stories. However, I believe the company should hire people who can project their voice. During the tour I couldn’t hear the guide (who’s very soft spoken). Considering that we are downtown Austin at night with traffic and music it’s a very loud environment. At minimum maybe hire someone who can speak louder or use a speaker!

Unfortunately we would not recommend. You are not able to enter any of the stops. Our tour guide began the tour by telling us there really are no ghost stories but some history on this tour. The tour guide was a terrible storyteller. For the one story we could actually fact check, the guide had majority of the facts wrong when we did fact check it. It could have been a really fun tour, but the guide needed more training and needed to remember the stories. The thought that went through our heads the whole time we were there was ‘did we really pay for this?’ We left halfway through because it was so painful.

Guide was extremely hard to hear and didn’t attempt to speak louder even after being asked. Didn’t prompt for questions or engage with us between stops. At some points, he was walking so fast we were basically speed walking. We had to yell at him to slow down. The tour was much shorter than advertised, but we were so glad it was over.

It was nice to get a bit of history on each of the locations we visited. The route took us around some of the more historic buildings in town. The stories weren’t in-depth, but you can’t expect much from an hour-long tour. I got what I paid for.

Guide was okay but he was difficult to hear at times throughout the tour. My biggest complaint is that I paid for the Extended Tour (1.5 hours long) but it ended up only being 40 minutes long (didn’t realize it until we were done and I checking the time)

I paid for an hour and a half ghost tour but it only lasted 45 minutes. The guide was walking so fast, we had trouble keeping up. He seemed knowledgeable, but his voice was soft and hard to hear. We didn't feel safe when we stopped close to groups of homeless people on 6th street. Not a good tour. Wouldn't recommend it

1.5 hour tour only took 45 minutes. We didn’t even complain because we were happy it was over. There were no stories and no knowledge of the area. I couldn’t tell you one single story from the night.

None. It was a waste of time and we walked away after 30 minutes. Group was too large, couldn't hear, guide lacked any enthusiasm or drama. Location' s were too far apart and not interesting. Also concern for security during the walk. This wasn't worth 5 dollars and clearly not 30 dollars.

The tour was full of creepy paranormal tales and fascinating historical stories. It included everything from the contemporary Omni Hotel to 19th century hotels and watering holes. Our guide, Jennifer, kept things lively and interesting with shared experiences of her own paranormal investigations. I had a January Tour and it gets quite chilly at night; dress warmly and you'll be comfortable. A great overview of Austin History. Recommended!

It was fun learning about all of the little ghost stories about places in downtown Austin. I like that the guide shared the stories and also some personal experiences with some of the paranormal life. The tour was just the right length. Would recommend for any interested in history or paranormal activities!

Our tour guide Gloria and her dog Athena were FABULOUS!
The tour was very informative and we went to quite a few different locations.
There were a couple parties in our group who didn't really understand what a walking ghost tour entails (like you know, walking) and their complaining was a little disrespectful but our guide took it like a champ and gave the rest of us a great tour, I would definitely recommend it!
A few things to consider, this is a tour in an area with a lot of homeless people as well as people bar hopping and your guide is not responsible for the behavior of anyone who is not on your tour.
I would also not bring small children along because the subject matter is heavy, there was a family in our group that brought a child that was waaaay too young to be hearing some of these stories. Hauntings don't usually come from happy events so keep that in mind.
ALSO! We caught what looks like a shadowy ghost lady in a window during our walk, it was very spooky.

I've been on a few ghost tours but my friend had not been on any so this was a real treat! Daylen was such a great guide and I was very impressed that he had only been giving the tours for a few weeks since he was very well versed and informative. 10/10 would recommend!

Jennifer was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Able to answer questions. She interacted perfectly with my 11 and 12 year olds. This was a great way to explore downtown Austin and learn a little of its history. So much fun, we greatly enjoyed the tour! Thank you Jennifer!

Tour guide sprinted through most of tour. Seemed more intent on getting to the end than on the tour itself. My wife and I got separated from group more than once, she noticed this but just keep going. Only took us a minute or two to catch up but she was already talking about the next stop.
