What are people saying about Honolulu

Awesome experience
The only thing I’d tell other travelers is they limit the size of bags you can bring in. No backpacks and camera bags . Very small purses. But they do have lockers to rent for $7. Other than that it’s an incredible experience. Shannon, our driver, was the bomb. Very thorough and knowledgeable of the area. He’s the OG.

Karma Tours was worth the money
The tour guide was amazing! To not have to drive in traffic and find parking was worth it but the tour guide made it so much more. Made sure we knew exactly where to go, we had everything we needed and got to where we needed to be on time. I thought she would just drive us and pick us up but it was so much more. We had plenty of time to explore the battleship and make it in time for the Arizona tour too. Make sure to bring money for a tip cause they deserve it. Wouldn’t do it any other way.

Vegas level entertainment!
I was seated at the luau dinner across from a lovely couple. I had a great conversation. I bought us Hawaiian leis for just $15 each.. The food was fantastic with the exception of the pork (which was overcooked). The Elvis impersonator and the Michael Jackson impersonator were really good. The dancers were Vegas level. The Chief’s fire show had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t believe the show was two hours because it was over before I knew it. The thing I like the most about the show was walking us through the decades and how Hawaiian music changed with American culture. It had pictures on the big screen of what was going on in the world at the time. There was great audience interaction. I think this was the highlight of my trip to Oahu.

Married was very informative and kept the tour interesting and a very safe driver. We absolutely love the Dole tour, including the train ride. We stopped for a coffee break, Dole Plantation Farm, which exceeded my expectations, including the train ride. Customer service was great. The next stop was the nut farm, which I was very disappointed with. I didn't get off the bus, because we had just left Dole and I didn't want anything. My husband got off and returned with a mango smoothie, which was a surprise. He mentioned a pic of a coconut drink 🥥 with the top off and straw. I asked him to please go back and get one for me. He returned with a green looking something with a straw inserted. A few in the group laughed after I said it's suppose to be a coconut drink, which cost $18.00. My complaint is false advertising. If the pic is of a brown coconut drink with straw, then the customer should receive the same. My husband shared how one man returned the one that he bought and sit it on the table. I trashed the one that I had as soon as we arrived at the hotel. Also, I can bypass the 2 hour food stop, but understand that tourists bring in revenue to support local jobs and small businesses.

Honolulu is both the perfect launch point for exploring Hawaii and a destination in itself. Honolulu tours cover both aspects, by revealing the city’s culture and helping you get out of town. Take a trip to the USS Arizona Memorial, snorkel among coral reefs, fly over the island in a helicopter, attend a traditional luau, or tick off city sights. Whatever you choose, expert guides will make your trip as smooth and memorable as possible.
