Such a fun experience! While I don’t cook, i love to eat. The instructions in the class gave me the knowledge to prepare the foods if i desired. So obviously this is a great fun class for anyone. The instructor(chef) was fabulous and patient and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was clean and inviting with the end product of pizza & gelato being deliciously edible. Do it, you won’t regret it!

Chef Marcello made the evening fun. I learned so much, and not just about pizza, but great cooking tips from a top chef. The group developed a nice camaraderie and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. So glad that I signed up for this and will look into similar opportunities in the future. Thanks for a wonderful experience chef, and by the way, the pizza and gelatto were amazing and a lot easier than I expected

Lidia was a delightful teacher, guiding us as we made pizza and gelato. She was patient with our clumsy efforts and helped us all turn out edible pizzas. We were with people from other countries in a lovely setting. It was a memorable experience!

What a fun evening!! We were met by Lidia our funny and sweet chef for the evening outside the cooking school . We were a small group of six in total which was fabulous as it was intimate and fun.
Lidia showed us how to make the dough and knead it so it is soft and fluffy ( hint be gentle) then We all made our own and Lidia made sure we had it to perfection. While the dough was resting we made vanilla gelato which was them out in a gelato maker.
Wine time was in between the two!! Once our dough rested we were shown how to stretch it and top it. Then we each were taught how to put the pizza on the paddle in the oven. They take no time at all to cook and then the best part we are it. By from the oven, chewy crust. Light and fluffy and just delicious. The gelato was amazing too!!
Lidia took a Polaroid of us and gave us a list of restaurants in Palermo they like. We also got the recipes.
A really fun evening. The company is great at sending reminders leading up to and the day of the workshop.

Enza was an amazing teacher. It was so much fun learning to make the crust then constructing our pizzas. The gelato we made was fabulous! Her explanations for everything were very informative as well as entertaining. I would 100% recommend going to Palermo’s Delight with the Tours of Italy.

My wife and I arrived at the place we were told to go to. We rang the bell, knocked on the door multiple times, but no one let us in. I called the phone number associated with the tour and did not get an answer. We want our money back, and are very upset that we went all the way there and did not get to do the cooking class.

It was a good class, the facilities were wonderfully clean and nice looking. General cooking experience also went well, only feedback I have is that there was not enough explanations regarding why we did things certain ways and explanations of terms. For example I would’ve liked explanations of what hard and soft flour are, which were terms used during the class. Also the usage of yeast, how amounts and time and temperature have a part in the process. Also we made Napolitano style pizza, but what does that mean and how is it different from other types, what other types are there etc. I had a lot more questions, I did ask some, but I didn’t want to disturb too much. Just generally lacked better learning.

What a memorable night in Palermo! I never imagined I’d actually learn to make pizza from scratch, but this class made it easy and so much fun. We mixed the yeast, sugar, and water into the flour, kneaded the dough, and even learned the trick of poking it to see if it springs back. Stretching it into a circle was the goal; mine turned out more like a square, which made us all laugh! After topping it with sauce and cheese, into the 800-degree oven it went. While the dough was rising, we made gelato, which was just as fun. The evening ended with drinks, our own pizzas, and gelato. Highly recommend!

This was a great time. Very clean, friendly, and most importantly, delicious! My only recommendation is to give time to do each step of the instruction. There was a lot of steps demonstrated in a row and trying to remember them all was tough!

We made our own personal pizzas and were able to taste the gelato. The chefs were amazingly helpful and made sure that we did the steps correctly to ensure delicious pizzas. The gelato was delicious! The chefs were so kind. An amazing experience! I had two children- 10 & 8, both had an amazing time. Everyone received a drink and the adults all were able to sample wine.

Such a fun time learning the tips and tricks to make the best pizza! The chefs gave clear directions and offered help along the way. They also provided a variety of toppings (my husband was excited to make his own Neapolitan pizza with anchovies). The gelato was also a great way to end the class. Highly recommend!
