This was one of the best cooking classes I’ve been on. The hosts were fantastic—warm, engaging, and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming.
The food and wine were both excellent, and there was more than enough of everything, so it never felt rushed or limited. What really stood out, though, was the atmosphere—the hosts and the group together made it a genuinely fun and memorable experience.
I’d absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a high-quality, enjoyable cooking class.

We had the most incredible time at the Seaview Cooking Class with Chef Mimmo—this was easily one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we arrived, the setting alone took our breath away. Cooking with that stunning view of the sea felt like something out of a movie.
Chef Mimmo was absolutely fantastic—warm, welcoming, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the entire experience feel relaxed and fun, while still teaching us authentic Sicilian techniques and flavors. You can tell how passionate he is about his craft, and it made everything we prepared taste even better.
The food… WOW. Every course was fresh, flavorful, and truly representative of the region. And the wine flowing throughout the experience? Let’s just say it perfectly complemented every bite and made the afternoon even more enjoyable!
This wasn’t just a cooking class—it felt like being welcomed into someone’s home for an amazing meal with friends. If you’re in Taormina, this is an absolute must-do. We left full, happy, and already wishing we could do it all over again.

From beginning to end it was an amazing experience. We were picked up by the chef, visited the local market to pick up our lunch ingredients. Once we got to the ocean front kitchen it was evident this was going to be an amazing experience. We made everything from scratch and then enjoyed a family style Italian dinner of what we prepared. Friends were made and emails ex changed to possible get together again. Chef Mimmo and his family treated us like family and it was an experience of a lifetime. Don’t miss it.

My wife and I did this cooking class on our honeymoon. It was such a great experience and we cooked the best food. We highly recommend this class to everyone. From his dad driving, his family members teaching you how to cook it was a true Italian family experience.

My wife and I took this class in 2017 and liked it so much we rebooked it again in 2025 for our entire family. Mimmo and Mamma were wonderful instructors on how to make an authentic Sicilian dish. Our adult family members were overjoyed at the taste and intimacy of the class. We highly recommend this experience.

My husband and I took this cooking class with our son and his wife.
It was a fabulous experience.
The meeting place was easy to find. We were picked up promptly and went to a market where we learned about the different vegetables used to make Italian cuisine.
After the market we went to the beautiful restaurant where we met Chef Mimmo and his family.
We learned how to make different pastas and a fish dish. It was a hands on experience and it was so much fun. Everyone was so nice and helpful. After we made our delicious meal we ate outside next to the sea. There was plenty of wine to go with our meal.
From start to finish it was an amazing experience.

Loved the hands on experience of making multiple kinds of pasta. So much fun and we can’t wait to do this as a holiday activity. It went over time by almost an hour and a 5 hr day was quite a lot, but well worth it. Chef Mimmo and his mom and helpers were all very authentic and passionate about what they do. Much more interesting than a making pizza class.

Our cooking class with Mimmo & his family was fabulous! They made you feel as though we were family coming for Sunday dinner. And we actually learned how to cook some delicious food… not the basic cooking class, a class you are engaged in from the very beginning. The food was sooo good & the wine sooo good most of us wanted to stay on longer just to visit with our newly made friends. This class is one you shouldn’t miss because you will love them & their food!

We learned great tips on local cuisine and how to cook it ourselves. Chef Mimmo’s mama was fantastic! She taught us how to make multiple types of pasta by hand. It would’ve been great to get the recipes for the dishes we made.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish for the 5 couples we were with. The little stop in the market was informative of the different types of vegetables that would be used in prepping the meals we made. And then the cooking class was out of this world. Chef Mimmo and the staff (many were family) were great! He did a fantastic job of explaining what we were going to be doing and made it so much fun! The hands on experience was fabulous. Oh, and I can’t explain how good the food was! Best meal so far in Italy.
