Fun & delicious cooking class!

This was so much fun to do while in Taormina! We first saw the market where all of the fresh vegetables & ingredients are sold. We then took a car down to the restaurant where we learned how to make fresh pasta in all different shapes, delicious traditional dishes like capponata, and pasta alla Norma and delicious chicken with chef Vittorio & Mama Francesca! They were the best & so much fun! We learned so much!! Food was delicious and we had so much of it. Definitely a fun experience to try while in beautiful Taormina :)

We spent a wonderful day cooking and learning from Chef Massimo He is such a friendly person who made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. There were 4 of us in the kitchen and with the help of Chef Massimo cooked lovely starters and 2 mains. Learned so much . All light hearted and fun. He even ordered a taxi to take us to his house after the market as we are of a certain age! If you are in Taormina, you really must do this

Loved this experience! I previously did a class with Towns of Italy in Florence on a different vacation which lead me to booking this class in Palermo. It’s a bright, clean kitchen with others. Yet you still feel the private experience sitting with your group, cooking together, enjoying the food and drinking wine. Highly recommend! Will continue booking with them in other cities :)

🍕 10/10 Street Food Tour Experience! 🇮🇹✨

If you’re looking for a great way to get a lay of the land and eat well, this tour is worth every penny! We had a wonderful time on this street food tour. Our group was 11 folks from all over the world, and the vibes were just fantastic from start to finish. 🌍🤝 Our guide, Alessandro, was the absolute star of the show. He’s basically part tour guide, part stand-up comedian, and part private chef. 🎭👨‍🍳 He informed us right upfront that the menu would be heavy on carbs and fried foods, which was completely fine by me—bring on the comfort food! 🧆🥖 🥖 The Bites Everything was delicious, though I did take a little culinary gamble! I tried the spleen sandwich, which was super adventurous for me. While I’m glad I gave it a shot, I probably wouldn’t order it again... unless maybe they loaded it up with some cheese or hot sauce to make it a bit more bearable! 🌶️🧀 💡 The Verdict Not only was the food great, but it was also such a good way to get our bearings in the city. 🗺️💶 10/10, would definitely do it again! We had the mayor of Palermo as our guide. Sorry I mean Barbara. All I can say is wow. Barbara not only knows every vendor and all of the hidden gems of the city but knows the history of the neighborhoods. It wasn’t the boring tour you see other folks on, she makes it fun and you could honestly spend the whole day with her walking around and meeting her friends. If you going to do a tour in Palermo, this is the one.
