Such a fun experience with some of the best pasta and tiramisu we’ve ever had. 10/10 recommend. The class was taught in a fun, easy to follow way. We’re so excited to take our pasta making skills home with us!

UgoChef is the Best

Learning to make pasta and tiramisu with UgoChef was the highlight of our 3 week trip to Sicily. We cooked in Nona's kitchen with an engaging and talented chef who made us feel so competent that we are sure to try the recipes at home. Everything - the spinach and ricotta raviolis, the fettuccini with sun dried tomato pesto, and the layered tiramisu with lady fingers lightly soaked in run and coffee turned out perfectly. We savored a delicious dinner with added appetizers and wine while UgoChef told us about his grandmother and his cooking experiences. It was a memorable evening. We give the experience 10+ and highly recommend it if you like to cook and and eat Sicilian food.

Where do I begin? The whole experience was fantastic! When we first arrived, we were greeted by Ugo, who was very kind and welcoming. He then taught us how to make a beautiful fettuccine, ravioli and tiramisu. He gave us a nice bottle of wine to enjoy as we ate. Overall it was an amazing experience and anyone who is looking for a cooking class should definitely book this one!!

Best Tour / Cooking Class EVER

This was my favorite and my husband's favorite tour in Palermo ( and we had 5 paid tours during our 6 night stay in Palermo ) w Chef Ugo at his home. Making food together and visiting as friends. He was very prepared, very kind and welcoming. An experience w a Sicilian resident in their home is unique for a tourist and important to our quest to understand the world and its differences. There were thoughtful, fun & quirky things like the cup w the nose to strain the eggs, stories of his family etc & the tomatoes we used were from his family's garden. He has 2 B & B rooms that he renovated himself and rents out. I'm sure they are great too We loved it!

A lovely cooking experience

Our cooking class was excellent from start to finish - we learned how to make delicious fresh fettuccine and ravioli from scratch, and whipped up the BEST tiramisu either of us had ever tasted. It was a wonderful evening with aperitivo, dinner, dessert, local wine and digestivo. Ugo was an excellent chef & instructor, and we felt welcome into his home in the heart of Palermo! We learned some local phrases over dinner too (fatti!), so it was the real Sicilian experience. Grazie mille!

Cooking experience in Palermo

This experience was so fun. The chef was organized and it was really neat to be in his home cooking. He made good choices for what to cook and we all got to participate and there was four of us.. He truly made us feel like family. Served us wine. and water and even made dessert as well. It was a full meal. It was an incredible experience. I recommend everybody to do this in Palermo.
