What To Expect

Make your own way to the Porta Messina arch in Taormina, and meet your guide for the cooking class. With your group, head inside a nearby restaurant to meet your pizzaiolo, a professional pizza maker.

Listen and learn as you hear the rules of basic preparation, from making dough with a gluten-rich wheat flour to whipping up an authentic Sicilian sauce.

When your pizza is made, you’ll take a seat to eat your creations along with water and soft drinks. A certificate to prove your pizza-making prowess is presented before you leave.

I did this with my 16 year old daughter and we truly had fun. It was the perfect combo of teaching/ learning and good energy and fun. We spent total of 3 hours making pasta and pizza followed by eating our creations. Thanks chefs for an entertaining evening.

Fun experience to do with family. Making pasta and pizza and afterwards dressing the pizza for your own lunch. We had a great "master chef" who anticipated nicely on the kids. Leave on time to find parking in the neighbourhood! And use the afternoon to visit Taormina (if not too hot)

What a great fun experience. We booked the 6.30pm option, which was a 2 hours class and somehow left the restaurant at midnight, 1 seriously delicious home made pizza eaten. 1 bowl of home made pasta eaten. Plus snacks and seemingly 2 litres of wine each. We couldnt have enjoyed ourselves more, even though the walk home was tougher than expected!!

Great event. Pizza and pasta class was awesome. The material was interesting and delicious. Started with an appy followed by the Pizza and pasta that you cook. Our instructor was tremendous. Would definitely recommend. Maurizio was the leader of the class and chef. He's the best.

Daniel our Chef taught our small group how to make 4 different kinds of pasta. We were provide with a souvenir apron and ensured we washed our hands. proper. Then we enjoyed an able antipasto with red and white wine but wait it’s not over. He continued to show us how to make pizza dough then we placed our own toppings. They were cooked to perfection and we ate the pizza next. But wait. We were not done eating. He brought over pasta all a Norma. From the pasta we made previously. More wine The lunch ending with a shot of lemon cello and cannolis. The most perfect cooking experience, highly recommend.

Francesca, our teacher, was passionate, patient & made the class fun. We made pasta and pizza! It was fun learning how to make the different pasta shapes and it was surprising easy. In between classes, we were served freshly made bread with olive oil and red & white wine. At the end, we were served the pasta & pizzas that we made. They both were delicious! To top it off, we received a colorful certificate of completion and were served cannolis. In my opinion, our group received our money’s worth. I would recommend this class.

I went with three couples and had some much fun as chef was funny and made sure you were able to make pasta and pizza. Also, there was so much food and desserts that you didn’t leave hungry. And we met new people from different countries and discuss their experiences in Italy.

This was SO fun! We loved this experience and it is worth every penny. The staff was charming and experienced in pizza and pasta making - we made both. They served snacks and wine halfway through, gave us cute aprons to take home, and we had a ton of food to eat after they cooked everything we made. Really a fantastic experience!!

10’of us (all ages with youngest age 9) had a really fun time at this class. Staff were so lovely, especially Maurizio and Paolo, who are so passionate and want to teach while entertaining! Great food and drinks also provided - wonderful!!!

A must do when in Taormina. It was fun, informative and Maurizio was fantastic with the full group. The pasta making was very interesting (and they make you a small dish from the pasta you prepare) and then you get to the main event of Pizza making. The pizzas tasted amazing and it was great to get into the kitchen to put your toppings on the dough you made. Between cooking, there is plenty of wine, bread, cheese and meats. Overall an amazing experience!

We had the best time! We arrived after along day of walking and were tired. We were offered a large bottle of water and a nice shady table to sit at. Each one of us (3) received as a gift an apron with a print of Taormina on it. once everyone arrived, Francesca the very friendly and professional chef explained that we are going to learn how to make pasta and pizza. We made both doughs from scratch and also learned how to make different pasta shapes. The other participants were very friendly and there were a lot of laughs and good vibes. The pizza was delicious and so was the pasta. They served everything with some wine and appetizers. I am never again buying store bought pasta!
