Top Sarasota Kayaking Tours

We had some time on one of our nights and decided we would try the glass bottom kayaks. I will say getting the chance to kayak at night and see all kinds of living creatures is amazing. It was so peaceful on the water at night. There were a few night herons we were able to see and the experience of learning something new about sea life is great. I would recommend this trip to anyone!

Wear clothes that can get wet , maybe long sleeve shirt and water shoes/ sandals. Our guide was very good, funny& informative. We had a large group, 20 people and he was good at being in front middle and back so he could talk to everyone. Good length of trip

Christine was knowledgeable about the area and when she didn't know the answer to a question, which wasn't often, admitted that she didn't know but would find out. The eating stops were quite good and the portions were generous. A nice way to get to know a little about downtown Sarasota.

Tom and my guide, Ben, were so easy to communicate with. They confirmed with me in the morning of the tour and followed with an email confirming where to meet. Then when Ben was caught in a construction zone, he let me know his status. Ben was very passionate and knowledgeable about the birds, plants, fish, oysters, snails in the preserve. It was truly a memorable experience. I will definitely book another tour when I return. Ben also took photos for me and sent them to me at the end of our adventure.

You finished the Trolley tour feeling like you knew all the important historical and current points of interest. The narrator, John was having fun telling you about the key people who made Sarasota happen. You can not fake the enthusiasm shown in his voice, nor in the sparkle in his eyes as he informed you about all things Sarasota, and doing it in a very entertaining way. We now know the where, when, and why of what made Sarasota one of the fastest rowing communities in the country. John pointed out the Best restaurants, Beaches, museums, theaters, and attractions, along with his tips on getting the best out of a Sarasota stay. How good is the Trolley Tour? One of our passengers was making a repeat tour, and a Alabama lady was taking her third tour in 7 years, and we all know customers do NOT return if they had a bad experience in the past. Simply the BEST!!!!

I love that you get reminders about your excursions. Tommy called about a glitch with a sick employee before we left to start and explained we’d begin a half hr later but that was fine with us- 9:30 start. Ben stepped up and was our guide. Super Nice, Very Knowledgeable, and there to meet your interests! We wanted to find sand dollars. We enjoyed seeing manatees and going to an island to shell hunt. No dolphins this trip, but normally they are in the areas we ventured. We enjoyed snorkeling to see the huge snails and even found a big crab friend! The last thing we did was go to an area where we found tons of live sand dollars! It was a good workout to paddle to all these areas so be prepared for that. I’m 61 and took pain reliever before bed and feel fine this morning. Suggesting thick sun screen to soak in before you leave your place and wash your hands so you have grip for your paddle. We had 6 going to include my daughter and her 4 kids ages 6-12. The two older boys did fine together and then we helped the two littles. Hope you enjoy the adventure as much as we did!! What an amazing experience. The dolphins came within feet of us and played around the kayaks. It is a memory I will never forget.
