Above and beyond
The tour was amazing! We traveled down the coast on our kayaks with a herd of 13 manatees swimming under us and around us. It was so cool! Lachlan, our guide was so friendly and informative. He made it an adventure! He even let me wear his polarized sunglasses so that I could see the manatees and the other sea life crystal clear. I suggest wearing polarized sunglasses! Great experience!! Prior to launching, I shared with the group that I had just gotten news of the death of a friend the day before and this was the last thing that we talked about, so I was determined to do it. Ben, the other gentleman with the tour, came up to me a few minutes later and told me that they were refunding the cost of my tour. These are compassionate, kind human beings. Thank you, Ben and Lachlan!!.❤️❤️❤️

Always fun!
We took visitors on this tour and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Derek was informative, funny and engaging. He took very good care of the guests, especially when they fell off the bikes (eh...that was me, twice!). The park is beautiful and it was great to be outside and do something different. We always take guests on Viator tours (including the Siesta Beach sunset tour, which is also great). Highly recommend.

Nighttime adventure
It helps if you have been kayaking before. Not to worry, though, because, if you are struggling, one kid the guides gives instructions and tows you until you get it right. Oh, you will get wet. My pants and windbreaker were soaked, but the sunset view and the experience of being out in the evening and looking for marine life was unique.

Fun day
You may or may not see any wildlife but we did see 1 dolphin, 2 osprey, 2 bald eagles but unfortunately no manatees (but no guarantee we would’ve) & don’t go on a windy day unless experienced, as it was hard to navigate since I’ve only done this once. Still a good day on the water on a 70 degree day with my daughter. Bring bottled water, towel & a baggie for collecting shells on the island, they had us stop at. We found several shark teeth & actually saw a small shark about a foot long, swimming in the shallows!!
