Overview

Just west of Sarasota’s city streets, you’ll find the serene shores of Lido Key. Get acquainted with Liquid Blue Outfitters and jump on a unique kayaking tour. You’ll meet at Bird Key Park Preserve where your guide will have a kayak, paddle, and dry bag waiting for you. Explore the marine life around the park, keeping an eye out for marine life swimming nearby.

Bring only sunscreen and waterwear, they’ll have kayaks and dry bags

Sky was an excellent guide. He made sure everyone was comfortable with their kayaks. He was always finding “sea treasures” that he shared with us - starfish, sand dollar, and welk to name a few. He always kayaked up to us checking. Sky learned everyone’s names immediately.

I went with my family of four. My kids are 12 and three. Sky was amazing and helped make us feel very comfortable and went out of his way to take care of us during this trip.

Our guide Sky was great and very intent on giving us a good experience. He was knowledgable on the local flora and fauna and gave us a lot of intersting facts about the area. Overall it was a lot of fun and I would do it again. Recommended for both adults and kids.

The pedal kayaks were very easy to maneuver. My family of 5 (including my 81 year old mother) thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Our guide, Skye, was great and very knowledgeable with a fun sense of humor. I highly recommend this excursion!

We had Kelly as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and shared funny stories. Great activity for the kids to get them out and doing something instead of having their face glued to their phones. Even our 4 year old enjoyed it. We were able to see some dolphins, jelly fish, and sea stars.

We got a personal tour due to the other party not showing up. Kelly did a great job taking us through the tunnels and pointing out all the wildlife. We couldn't have ask for a better trip. We will definitely ask for Kelly when we return.

Kelly was our tour guide and he was great. Telling us about history or area, the nature, and jokes along the way. Easy to do. We did a double kayak and did well. You will get wet from the paddling. Not drenched. They have bags to put your phone and items to prevent from getting wet. Bring water for trip. Suggest a towel for after tour. 2.5 hrs long. So manatees, star fish, crabs, jelly fish, and all kinds of birds well worth it

Great experience to get out on the water and see the mangroves! Tour takes you right through various channels within the mangroves and the guide was entertaining. Limited wildlife because of the time of year.

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable tour guide. Only thing was it was a little slow if you are more than a beginner kayaker. Loved seeing white ibis.
