We had a great time! Our guides were very knowledgeable and took us to different spots during the tour. We saw crabs, birds and even caught a quick glimpse of a manatee! We did the 9:00 am tour which was great since it was a little cooler that time of day. We also found a lot of great shells. It was a very enjoyable tour. We highly recommend it!

Awesome tour. Guides were so engaging. Saw manatees, crabs. Kayaked to a few spots. Secluded beach and sandbar. Colin and Jack were great hosts. Fun, active and super interesting. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time and the guides were great. They provide all that you need from life vest, mask, snorkel, waters and water bag. Found spider crabs, live sand dollars (can’t take anything alive), and saw dolphins and manatees. Title is a little misleading as thought one of the stops was doing shelling on an island but we didn’t “tour” or go to any island (just kayaked in intercoastal and snorkeled on sandbars near an island in the intercoastal).

We are so happy you had a wonderful time with the guides and wildlife encounters!!! While this tour does launch out onto the inner coastal, the tour is titled "The Island tour" because we get hands on and explore the waters and sandbars surrounding Anna Maria Island, Jewfish Key, and Greer Island. We do also make a stop and land on Greer Island (which is the northern tip of Longboat Key). Thank you!

Our experience was amazing, and our instructors Ally, Kai, and Jackson were great! Very knowledgeable about the wildlife and recommendations. We found shells, sandollars, and crabs. Even seen manatees, dolphins and caught a ray jumping out of the water from the island. Highly recommend!

The tour was so much fun. It was myself, my husband, and 2 11 year old boys. The guides were great! They were both college kids on summer break, but they were so knowledgeable about the tour, the history, the animals, and the activity itself. There was always one in the front and one in the back or the group. so no one was ever lagging behind by themselves. The kayaking was a little bit of workout, but nothing a normal person can’t do. We had never kayaked before, let alone in the ocean. We were grateful to know that the majority of the time, you are no deeper than waist deep. They provided life jackets, snorkel gear, cold waters, and a brief tutorial of how to use the paddles. We saw a manatee, several dolphins, LOTS of sand dollars, crabs, and other wildlife. We paddled out to two different sandbars with calm waters and very clear water. I highly recommend!

This was a very fun trip, but it is a somewhat strenuous trip with the paddling depending on the water and how rough it is. But I did it.
Got to see some marine life and was so excited to get to see a manatee passing thru. I have to commend our guides, Logan and Emmett. They were exceptional in helping those in the group that struggled. Emmett stayed behind to help my girls as they were struggling with getting the paddling down and somewhat afraid. Then on the way back both guides helped tow a few of the participants back also. Very kind and very patient guys.

My suggestion go early. Sunscreen and a hat. Allie and Blaze were so nice and helpful and knowledgeable. The last sandbar we went to was amazing!!! Found conch shells, saw dolphins, crabs and manatees. On the way back, we got caught in a current. Someone in boat asked us if we needed a tow. Very friendly. Anybody could do this trip. Able to navigate and control the kayak . Highly recommend

Blaze and Allie did a fantastic job! We had a great time!! Saw lots of sand dollars, shells crabs, a few manatees and even dolphins! Highly recommend and would do this again!

Ben was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area and all things marine life. He even tried to save the pelican that had a hook in its shoulder. (Officials were informed after the pelican swam off to deeper water, making it hard to help it.)

I love that you get reminders about your excursions. Tommy called about a glitch with a sick employee before we left to start and explained we’d begin a half hr later but that was fine with us- 9:30 start. Ben stepped up and was our guide. Super Nice, Very Knowledgeable, and there to meet your interests! We wanted to find sand dollars. We enjoyed seeing manatees and going to an island to shell hunt. No dolphins this trip, but normally they are in the areas we ventured. We enjoyed snorkeling to see the huge snails and even found a big crab friend! The last thing we did was go to an area where we found tons of live sand dollars! It was a good workout to paddle to all these areas so be prepared for that. I’m 61 and took pain reliever before bed and feel fine this morning. Suggesting thick sun screen to soak in before you leave your place and wash your hands so you have grip for your paddle. We had 6 going to include my daughter and her 4 kids ages 6-12. The two older boys did fine together and then we helped the two littles. Hope you enjoy the adventure as much as we did!! The island visited, although interesting, is under the highway, so there's no sense of peace and quiet. But Ben was very knowledgeable and made the trip fun. Overall, I would recommend this trip.

We are happy you had fun and overall recommend this trip! On this adventure we visit and provide an opportunity to snorkel at multiple areas including jewfish key, beer can island, and surrounding sandbars. The “highway” mentioned is a two lane road bridging from Anna Maria Island to Longboat Key. It passes over a corner of beer can island. The rest of beer can island is very peaceful and quiet when compared to the surrounding areas and is teeming with plenty of marine life. Thank you!

Andrew and Nick did a great job leading a fun and interesting tour. They were great with our kids and went at the right pace. They let us stay a little longer than normal to see a pod of 10 manatees! Five stars, definitely recommend!

They provide everything including preparation text to remind you. They provide extra water. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and kind and considerate. They motivated us and taught us a lot. They gave us plenty of time to explore. I would do this everyday!

Group of 7. This was our second kayak tour during our stay. First one was in sarasota. This was 1000 times better! Nick was so much fun while also informative about nature and history. We saw crabs, clams, dolphins, and lucked out and had a manatee swim right up to shore while we were walking around exploring beer can island! Highly recommend

This exceeded our expectations! Ben, our guide, was so knowledgeable about all the different sea animals, birds, and the area. He let us decide our own pace, and purposely found crabs, snails, and shells for us. This was our first time kayaking in the ocean-but definitely won't be our last. We loved this so much we decided to book another experience!

Had an amazing family kayaking adventure! Huge thanks to our awesome guides, Lachlan and Chase — they were so knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun and educational. We discovered sand dollars, spider crabs, a horseshoe crab, hermit crabs, a sea slug, and even a conch! We didn’t spot any manatees on the tour, but our guides went the extra mile and shared the location of a nearby cove where we got to see at least five of them swimming around. Such a memorable day!

What a great family adventure! Lachlan was our tour guide. He was full of information on birds, shells, fish, plants, everything! It was so fun! The kids enjoyed the kayaking through the mangroves and going under bridges. We signed up for the island tour but did the mangrove tour because of water clarity. Lachlan took us to a sandbar to get out and snorkel, shell, and explore. This was an excellent family activity with no gaming involved! ❤️😝
