We had a great time! Our guides were very knowledgeable and took us to different spots during the tour. We saw crabs, birds and even caught a quick glimpse of a manatee! We did the 9:00 am tour which was great since it was a little cooler that time of day. We also found a lot of great shells. It was a very enjoyable tour. We highly recommend it!

Ben was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area and all things marine life. He even tried to save the pelican that had a hook in its shoulder. (Officials were informed after the pelican swam off to deeper water, making it hard to help it.)

I love that you get reminders about your excursions. Tommy called about a glitch with a sick employee before we left to start and explained we’d begin a half hr later but that was fine with us- 9:30 start. Ben stepped up and was our guide. Super Nice, Very Knowledgeable, and there to meet your interests! We wanted to find sand dollars. We enjoyed seeing manatees and going to an island to shell hunt. No dolphins this trip, but normally they are in the areas we ventured. We enjoyed snorkeling to see the huge snails and even found a big crab friend! The last thing we did was go to an area where we found tons of live sand dollars! It was a good workout to paddle to all these areas so be prepared for that. I’m 61 and took pain reliever before bed and feel fine this morning. Suggesting thick sun screen to soak in before you leave your place and wash your hands so you have grip for your paddle. We had 6 going to include my daughter and her 4 kids ages 6-12. The two older boys did fine together and then we helped the two littles. Hope you enjoy the adventure as much as we did!! The island visited, although interesting, is under the highway, so there's no sense of peace and quiet. But Ben was very knowledgeable and made the trip fun. Overall, I would recommend this trip.

We are happy you had fun and overall recommend this trip! On this adventure we visit and provide an opportunity to snorkel at multiple areas including jewfish key, beer can island, and surrounding sandbars. The “highway” mentioned is a two lane road bridging from Anna Maria Island to Longboat Key. It passes over a corner of beer can island. The rest of beer can island is very peaceful and quiet when compared to the surrounding areas and is teeming with plenty of marine life. Thank you!

Andrew and Nick did a great job leading a fun and interesting tour. They were great with our kids and went at the right pace. They let us stay a little longer than normal to see a pod of 10 manatees! Five stars, definitely recommend!

They provide everything including preparation text to remind you. They provide extra water. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and kind and considerate. They motivated us and taught us a lot. They gave us plenty of time to explore. I would do this everyday!

Group of 7. This was our second kayak tour during our stay. First one was in sarasota. This was 1000 times better! Nick was so much fun while also informative about nature and history. We saw crabs, clams, dolphins, and lucked out and had a manatee swim right up to shore while we were walking around exploring beer can island! Highly recommend

This exceeded our expectations! Ben, our guide, was so knowledgeable about all the different sea animals, birds, and the area. He let us decide our own pace, and purposely found crabs, snails, and shells for us. This was our first time kayaking in the ocean-but definitely won't be our last. We loved this so much we decided to book another experience!

Had an amazing family kayaking adventure! Huge thanks to our awesome guides, Lachlan and Chase — they were so knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun and educational. We discovered sand dollars, spider crabs, a horseshoe crab, hermit crabs, a sea slug, and even a conch! We didn’t spot any manatees on the tour, but our guides went the extra mile and shared the location of a nearby cove where we got to see at least five of them swimming around. Such a memorable day!

What a great family adventure! Lachlan was our tour guide. He was full of information on birds, shells, fish, plants, everything! It was so fun! The kids enjoyed the kayaking through the mangroves and going under bridges. We signed up for the island tour but did the mangrove tour because of water clarity. Lachlan took us to a sandbar to get out and snorkel, shell, and explore. This was an excellent family activity with no gaming involved! ❤️😝

We had a great day out with our guide, Kenzie. He was super friendly and great with our family- including our 11, 8, and 6 year olds. The tide happened to be stronger than usual (totally out of their control) and Kenzie did great at accommodating our kiddos and making the best out of it. We had dolphins and manatees swim directly under us, some great shelling on the sandbars, and a beautiful stop at "beer can island" as it's dubbed by the locals. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

My friend and I had the best time with Kenzie as our tour guide. He was super rad in communicating with us during intros. It was my friend’s first time kayaking and he put her mind at ease knowing that he was gonna be there to help if she needed. We enjoyed his charisma while finding cool wildlife on the sea bed when we would get out to snorkel. He was so knowledgeable about marine life and the importance of those habitats. Also loved his view on how to be respectful to wildlife when we are in their habitat. Then he did a phenomenal job at getting us some manatee sightings which I know is rare but he made sure we saw them while passively observing and ensuring they had space. It honestly couldn’t have been a better time. We literally felt like we were hanging with a friend. Go Kenzieee!!

I took this tour with my husband and 13 year old son. Nick was a fantastic tour guide!! He was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the area! We got off the kayaks on the first sandbar and after some time when the currents picked up Nick moved us all towards the shallower part of the inlet. Kayaking itself wasn't too difficult, getting onto the kayak from the first sandbar took some effort but my husband helped! but it was a great experience and we'd like to thank Nick for a lovely day out!!!

Tommy was outstanding: hospitable, knowledgeable about the area, and extremely accommodating with children across all age ranges. His tour was well planned, thoughtful, and he engaged the group with excellent background information on each of the spots we visited. I’d recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in a semi-active tour that is appropriately paced for all ages and abilities. Outstanding.
