Eddie was the best guide. He showed us manatees, we found a lot of conches, and it was just an overall great experience. I highly recommend.

Make sure you see where this is located. Its roughly 45 mins from the Siesta Key area. Prepare to arrive 20-30 mins prior. There is a Publix and CVS 5 mins away if you need to go to the bathroom. Bring clothes that can get wet and whatever you wear may get stained. Bring footwear that can get wet and muddy. You can bring your phone on the trip but a water proof case is recommended. The guides are great and will lead you to areas you can catch small sea animals with a net and then everyone can see what you catch at the end of the tour. You will see hermit crabs, star fish, shrimp and if you are lucky you will see manatees. The kayaks ride smooth and the water is very shallow, up to the waist at the max. If you like exploring and kayaking then this is for you.

We went out just before dark and the briefing by the guide was very good and the trip seemed very organized. The kayaks were set up and ready to go when we got to the site. The only problem we ran into is the light on the Kayak did not work due to low battery and we paddled in the dark for some time. Fortunately, one of the guides noticed and switched batteries and the light started working.
You may want to bring a water proof pad to sit on in the kayak. The seats have no padding and you are basically sitting on the floor. I sat on the life vest and that helped a little but after 30 minutes or so I was ready to stand up.

Very fun, water is not very clear or clean so in deeper water it was challenging to see but once on the grass beds finding starfish and other small things it was easy

This was a very fun and relaxing experience we were able to catch small sea creatures in caught a little sea sail named Jerry we also got to watch a very beautiful sunset

From out of state, never been to the area. Left to be to dock 10 minutes earlier than what we needed to, to be there 15 minutes early as tour guide requested. Stayed in the same spot in backed up traffic for 40 minutes... attempted to call the number provided 3 times, left a voicemail, and sent 2 texts to try and see if
1. tour time might have changed or been postponed before we wasted even more time trying to get there and
2. To see if there was any time that wouldn't be beyond too late to get there if we could miraculously make it.
There was absolutely no way we could foresee the traffic that was going to hold us up.
Guide finally messaged back and send me questions asking details of booking, sends me the website to book a tour. I responded stating I was already booked and he then proceeded to ask me why I texted if I already booked. I explained to him our situation and he tells me it only takes 12 minutes to get to the dock and that I should be able to make it. I send him a picture of the traffic and the time my Google Maps was taking me to get there. If there was an alternate route I would have taken it but we were staying on Longboat Key and there is only 1 road to get on and off the island, we were legit just stuck. I asked if there was a way they could wait for us and told him it was understandable if they couldn't and also asked if there was any way we could be refunded. He NEVER responded. I requested a refunded on Viator as well but the request was denied. I understand that whenbooking it says cancellation 24 hours prior to booking m but we were on our way to the dock, we wanted to experience this activity and to no fault of our own we couldn't make it. $65 per person, 5 people... that's $325 just taken from us.
I would like to say we would have enjoyed it otherwise but will not be booking with this company when we go back as there is no refunds for a situation we couldn't change.

Unfortunately the water was murky and we were unable to see anything in the water. But the guides were awesome and it was a beautiful night.
steven_p, May 2026
Matt and Lorelei were great, friendly and knowledgeable. The weather was nice and the kayaks were clean.
Garrett_H, May 2026
Expect the unexpected. Wear something you don’t mind getting a little sea salty in. And be aware… high probability of catching crabs! But most of all relax and have fun!!

Good time, tour guide guy is cool. Easy going and knowledgeable.
My 10 year old son wants to do it again when we come back next year.
If you have a little one who enjoys checking out creatures on the beach or anywhere really, they will love this and you will too.

Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad to hear the guide did his best to manage the conditions.
We would like to clarify that we do monitor weather and wind direction closely to make safety calls; however, on this day, the conditions changed much faster than the forecast predicted. Regarding the safety of the group, our records show that no injuries occurred during the trip, and we are very relieved that everyone returned safely.
Because the conditions weren't what we aim for, we issued a 100% refund on the spot. We always strive to provide a great experience, but when Mother Nature doesn't cooperate, we make sure our customers are taken care of. We hope to have the chance to get you out on a calmer day in the future!

Be ready to be curious and explore! We loved learning about the local critters in a safe and respectful manner🐚❤️
Jamie_S, Apr 2026
We had an awesome time kayaking. The group leaders were fun and knowledgeable. The water was calm and shallow. We saw so much wildlife on our tour. Highly recommend!
Kristen_S, Apr 2026
This was so memorable! One of the highlights of our vacation! Thank you! The guides are knowledgeable and make it a great experience.
Kate_C, Apr 2026
No one showed up at our time and there was no notification that the trip was canceled. Very disappointing.
Judyann_W, Mar 2026
It helps if you have been kayaking before. Not to worry, though, because, if you are struggling, one kid the guides gives instructions and tows you until you get it right. Oh, you will get wet. My pants and windbreaker were soaked, but the sunset view and the experience of being out in the evening and looking for marine life was unique.
Carla_E, Mar 2026
My family had a blast. As a group of 8 we didn’t know what to expect but we were all surprised in the best way. The kayaks were well lit and we were able to drift about as wanted. Dan Rowan were easy going and helpful.
Paula_M, Mar 2026
Our tour guide Matt was great, and it’s not probably his fault but it had rained all day and when we got out there, the water was so turned up. We couldn’t see anything hardly at all through the bottom of the kayak. And it was very windy. We had to come in a half hour early, so we probably shouldn’t have gone out at all, and I would love to have another experience with them because I’m sure it could’ve been a whole lot better

Had an amazing time on our night kayaking tour! Dan was funny, interesting and informative. Would definitely recommend this experience.
Jackie_H, Mar 2026
Dan was a great guide with lots of enthusiasm for the tour! We learned a lot and had a great night on the water!
Greg_B, Feb 2026
Matt and Dan did an excellent job. Lots of sea life including a sting ray, very cool experience definitely recommend
Anna_W, Feb 2026
Cool experience. Our guide Matt was friendly and very knowledgeable about the marine life. It was cold when we went out and I feel like if we chose a warmer night for the tour we would’ve seen more activity. Definitely dress for the weather/getting wet! My partner and I aren’t the most experienced with kayaking so we got soaked. They provide small nets for catching critters and you get to check them out after the tour which was my favorite part. We would definitely try this again on a warmer night!
PatriciaT, Feb 2026
Looking for a unique experience?
Well, look no more! This was super fun and we were lucky enough to have a very small group due to the weather (cold and windy) but it made the experience that much more enjoyable. Our guide, Matt was fun and very upbeat. Constantly scooping up sea creatures to share with us along the way. Very cool kayaking through the mangrove tunnels and making our way into a very secluded area all to our own. Pretty magical! So much fun for all ages! Don’t miss out on this adventure!
Some tips…
Bring a towel. You will get wet.
Bring a change of clothes. You will get wet.
Wear water shoes. I would also recommend bringing a headlamp. The kayak lights will only allow you to see a foot or two around your kayak. Our guide was wearing one and could see so much more with it on.
And maybe bring a Ziploc bag for your key fob. Just in case!
Enjoy!

It was a fun, relaxing, and unique adventure. Dress to get wet! Our guide Anna was nice, informative and engaging. She interacted well with all the guests and help us find some interesting sea life!

Great addition to our family trip! Matt and his team were informative and enthusiastic , fun and great for all ages and kayaking abilities! Didn’t get too wet was a bonus:)
Kristal_M, Jan 2026
They never showed. Apparently they were involved with a car wreck. Never contacted us. Still waiting on response for my money back.
