What are people saying about Reykjavik

A must do experience
This was a fantastic once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend it. Our guide, Lucas, was really patient and available whenever needed. Half the experience is putting on the dry suit, quite a production. The water was so clear, visibility was amazing! With the wet suit I never felt cold in the water and stayed dry other than my hair. Even my face never felt cold, I was too busy admiring the scenery to ever feel cold.

Lovely and educational.
Several local stops to witness evidence of eruption and disruption in town followed by a moderately strenuous three hour hike to magnificent views of the lava flows. No active lava at this time. Our guide Sigrun has expertise in volcanology as well as a locals perspective and stories of recent eruptions. She was personable and authoritative and very helpful. There was even a fun surprise and treat at the peak of the hike.

Good fun!
Very cool. Informative and viscerally amazing. I had the classic ticket, not premium. Classic sits closer to the Lava. Premium sits higher up a looks down on the action. Sitting close, you can really feel the heat off the lava. Pro tip: you can buy a drink and bring it into the theater. It was awesome to have a nice cold beer for the show. Our master of ceremonies, Neil, was great too!

Overall great tour
Overall all this tour was really fun and eventful. David was an awesome guide informative and entertaining we were never bored. All the stops were beautiful and the ice cream stop was a nice surprise. This is definitely one of the best tours we experienced on our trip. If you only have a few days it’s a great way to see a lot in one day. Highly recommend!
