I was so happy to book this Puffin Tour with Viator. The ability to change dates up to 2 days in advance as I looked at the weather was so helpful and meant my experience was in sunshine! The tour company was so professional and knowledgeable. The boat ride was a blast. And then seeing ALL the puffins so close - a morning I’ll never forget. The tour is about an hour which was still plenty of time with the puffins and also meant my whole day was not wasted. I was able to get back to my family (I went solo) and they barely knew I was gone!

A Really Fun Little Tour!

We rode on a comfortable decent-sized (with toilet) boat to 2 small islands near downtown. There were a ton of Puffins and other birds with much activity and a lot to see. The young tour guide, Janiek, (pronounced yannick - I think...) was a doll. She answered a lot of questions, explained everything, gave us binoculars, and was very courteous and professional. This tour really exceeded our expectations. And we had a lot of fun! I highly recommend it.

We’ve done horseback riding two years ago with different farm and we have this experience now to compare to the first one. Let me tell you Laxness farm is amazing and I would book with them over and over again. I went with my two kids, ages 19 and 9, and we all enjoyed the ride. Amazing staff, very helpful and nice. Tour guide and he his knowledgeable narrative in the short 1hrs tour was very good. The lava tunnel with the lights, walking platform, spectacular details inside, the silence mode at the end and preview to the extreme tour were all worth it. 1hrs goes by as it was 15min.. If you are not claustrophobic extreme tour might be life long memory. Tour is worth every bit of time and $$ spend

Preview of Things To See While In Iceland

We really enjoyed the Fly Over Iceland experience. It gives you a snapshot of the country and basically a checklist of the things to do while visiting. If asked to provide a wishlist, I think it would be nice to add the Northern Lights, and an erupting volcano to the presentation. Those are two things you are not certain to see during any visit to Iceland so it would be nice to see them on the Fly Over experience. Otherwise it was great.

Fantastic half day out

We booked onto the morning excursion - unfortunately 15 minutes into the bus ride, the excursion had to be cancelled due to a bad accident on the roads causing them to be closed. The tour company was really helpful and got us booked onto the 1pm excursion the same day when we messaged them on Viator. The bus journey was pretty quick (35 mins each way) and scenic. When we got to the caves, we had Alex as a guide. He was fantastic - it was a really informative and funny tour. The caves themselves are very pretty in winter with the icicles. It might not be a super long tour but we really liked it as a half day trip from Reykjavik.

Great first fishing experience in Iceland

Awesome first fishing experience in Iceland. Both my wife and I caught a lot of nice cod and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The mates, Otsgir (may have misspelled his name) and Samuel were both great and super friendly and helpful. They worked hard to make sure everyone caught fish, especially the kids, and filleted and cooked up the fish and some potatoes for everyone to eat on the trip back in. If I go back to Iceland, I will definitely fish with them again!
