Great Experience - Bring Cash for Lunch!
Really great experience. If you want to hit a bunch of spots all in one day, book this tour!
The tour starts early around 6:30am, but the advantage is that the first 3-4 spots are completely empty as the drones of tourists haven't arrived yet. Be aware that the included breakfast comes after visiting 3 beautiful scenic spots - so if you'll get hungry and can't wait, I recommend bringing a snack.
Also, make sure you bring cash! The lunch shrimp spot takes cash only - my partner and I were banking on using contactless payment, but since your order is taken beforehand so the food is ready by the time you get there, it is $20 cash per person.
I really liked how with this tour, the admission fee to the temple is included. The temple is not large, but beautiful. The tropical farm and Dole Plantation really were just to buy souvenirs with the time allowed, but definitely get a dole whip from Dole Plantation.
During our experience, we did not see any sea turtles at Sunset Beach, but had a great swim. There is a bathroom and shower facility to help clean off before hopping back onto the bus.
In summary, our driver and guide Koa was amazing, with him brimming with local knowledge. Bring cash, be on time for pickups, and you'll have a great time!

Loved every minute of it.
Tons of experiences all in one day. Bring a portable charger for your phone there are a lot of pictures to take. Our guide Capt. Jack waa extremely knowledgeable and made the trip fun. Our driver Tua did an amazing job. We also got to try lots of new foods. There are plenty of stops so you aren't stuck.on a bus all day.
Be prepared to be flexible and don't make evening plans, because some stops may take longer then expected. I would highly recommend this adventure. If you are staying for an extended vacation do this early in your trip.

The Best Tour We’ve Ever Done — Kathleen & Uncle Joe Were the Perfect Duo! 🌺
Hands down, one of the BEST tours we have ever done! Kathleen and Uncle Joe (I believe that was our wonderful driver’s name—so sorry if I got it wrong!) were truly the perfect duo.
Kathleen put so much heart into every single detail of the experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable, smart, witty, funny, and genuinely made the entire day so much fun. You could tell how much she truly cares about Hawaii, its history, culture, and making sure everyone on the tour has an unforgettable experience. She went above and beyond in every possible way.
The two of them worked so perfectly together and made us feel welcomed and taken care of from beginning to end. We saw so much, learned so much, laughed constantly, and honestly did not want the day to end. We were genuinely heartbroken when the tour was over!
This was easily the best tour we have ever taken, and a huge part of that was because of Kathleen and Uncle Joe. We will 100000% be visiting Hawaii again, and this experience will always be one of our favorite memories from the trip. If you’re considering the Grand Circle Island Tour, BOOK IT—and if you’re lucky enough to get Kathleen and Uncle Joe, you’re in for an incredible day! 🌺🤙🏼

Fantastic tour
Darcy, our tour guide was great! As a local, he was so informative. Not only did we learn about the history, culture and facts of the various sites, he sprinkled personal anecdotes throughout. What he referred to as “useless information” really gave our tour a personal touch and we learned so much!
Darcy was also very attentive to everyone’s needs. Between health issues and food allergies he made sure we were all safe and comfortable.
We highly recommend the tour and our guide Darcy
