Really great experience! We loooooooved our guide--very knowledgable and more importantly just a great vibe. The food was really good. We signed up because we listed off all the food we wanted to try while we were in NOLA and a food tour really knocked everything off the list. Plus, the guide recommended cocktails along the tour and which ones he'd recommend when we're out that night. Everything was great!

Fun in the Swamp

A really fun ride & tour of the swamps in southern Louisiana. The airboats can be loud but they provide all riders with a headset. Our tour guide Ronny is native of the region and was extremely knowledgeable. He slowed down so we can take pics of the gators and feed them marshmallows. Great experience.

An amazing experience!

Okay, so the cemetery was designed to be an oven, literally. It can get very warm in there like it was on this beautiful April day. They do try to set up shady areas but be warned to bring water and sunscreen. Okay, now that that is out of the way.... The tour was fantastic. James was our tour guide. He is a former history professor and has lived in the FQ for 40 years. He was so informative and engaging! His retelling of the Battle of New Orleans alone is worth the ticket price! We really lucked out get James as our guide. But the cemetery itself is a crucial part of American history that is incredibly preserved by the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

What a wonderful way to learn some Irish history! Our guide, Richard, was so entertaining, funny, and knowledgeable. If we would have done a self guided tour, there is no way I would have known a fraction of what we learned on this tour. My husband even ran into Richard later that day on a walk and they had a lovely chat! Wonderful, informative, and entertaining tour.

Excellent tour of the swamps and bayous outside of New Orleans. If you want to see an alligator or 3, this is the tour to take. The boat operator had a way of "calling" them, and they would swim right up to the boat and eat marshmallows out of his hands. We saw 3 alligators up close, not counting his pet alligator (a baby alligator boat occupants could hold if they wanted to). He pointed out the wildlife and foliage, and he was very knowledgeable. I enjoyed the tour immensely.

Fantastic Day Exploring Outside the City

What a fun day getting out of downtown New Orleans and exploring the bayou. It was a beautiful day out on the water in the swamp boat tour. Our driver, Malcom, was wonderful and our tour guide, Kate, kept us engaged all day with her insightful tour and interesting stories of New Orleans and beyond. The swamp boat tour was especially enjoyed by my sons and is a great family activity to explore the bayou and view wildlife like alligators up close!
