A wonderful tour.

We had a wonderful day-long trip with Jorge. Picta Travel worked with us to ensure we saw what we wanted to see and arranged all the tickets for us. We visited the National Palace of Sintra, the Quinta da Regaleira, and Pena Palace. Jorge was a great guide and knew so much about each place-we learned so much with him. We had fast track tickets at Pena Palace, but they had closed some rooms before our visit so we decided not to visit the interior rooms so we could focus on the exterior and grounds. We were glad we didn't go inside when we saw all the people waiting to go in. Jorge also arranged lunch for us at a lovely restaurant right on the ocean. Our waitress brought our fish out for us to look at it before they cooked it and the fish came with far too much food. Jorge also told us lots of interesting information about Portugal's history and culture which added to the overall experience. We very much enjoyed our tour and would recommend it to anyone looking to experience spectacular castles and scenery while leaving the driving to someone else.

This was an excellent tour hosted by our driver Nani who was very knowledgeable of the history of Lisbon. Nani was able to take us to great view points and gave us a 360 view of the city. We were allowed to control our time as needed and Nani was able to take accommodate our demands with ease. The tuk tuk was a great way to get round the city in comfort and the whole experience provided excellent value for money. The booking through Viator was straightforward as always and Boost kept in contact as needed.

Diogo was amazing. He is so passionate about his job but more importantly, he is passionate about being Portuguese and Portugal. And it shows in the way he talks about every location we visited and the places along the way. I learned some interesting history along the way, which I always enjoy. He gives good recommendations for food and places to see along the way when we have a few minutes to spare. We got to see a lot during the tour but it didn’t feel rushed and it felt like we got to see and learn a lot at each location.

Fantastic half day trip to Sintra

This was a well paced half day tour to Sintra. Perfect amount of time to enjoy both Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira. We even had 30 min in city centre. Daniel was a friendly, knowledgeable and fantastic tour guide. He was great with our kids! Unfortunately, my daughter got car sick, but Daniel was very accommodating, understanding and helpful throughout. The walking wasn’t too bad either. Walk to Pena Palace was more uphill and challenging than the other walks, but Daniel made strategic breaks along the way. Highly recommend!
