I had such a fun and unforgettable tour with Into the Glacier! We got to see the beautiful Icelandic horses up close feeding and petting them was such a special experience. They were so gentle and stunning.
We also visited a spectacular waterfall that was absolutely breathtaking. Then came the highlight exploring the ice cave and driving up onto the glacier itself. Standing on top of the glacier and taking in the incredible views was something I will never forget. The scenery was beyond beautiful.
This tour was adventurous, unique, and completely worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Iceland! Definitely worth being cold to see the views!

The driver was in hurry all the time … besides we could get to the glacier which was our goal … my whole trip was to see it .. money should be re- imbursed

The entire day was amazing. Went to the largest geothermal heating source in Europe, an incredible visit to horse stable, a 4-wheel drive up to the top of a huge glacier, culminating into touring an ice cave deep into the glacier. No knowing what to expect, this was a fascinating look into nature. Our drivers were outstanding and our tour guide was entertaining and friendly. Highly recommend this tour if you have a day in Iceland and looking for a great option. You can also combine it with a snow-mobile ride up the glacier.

This sucked. Sent them a message confirming my pickup time and place. They responded within corrective formation missed thus excursion and they didn’t even try to contact me. What a money grabbing company. Don’t trust them!!!!

I Ignored the review about them not picking you up. Do Not Make My Mistake!! We were at the pick up site 20 mins early and called the company before and during our pick up window. They told me to be patient and then said I needed to rebook. They made no effort to get my family on the tour. They subcontract pick up so there is no communication. I have taken tours throughout the world and never seen anything like this. To their credit, they did refund the cost of the tour but someone in charge needs to make changes. Watched several tour companies carefully pick up passengers. It’s not that hard and clearly a chronic issue. Respect your time and book elsewhere

SCAM!! This tour failed to collect us TWICE wasting 2 days of our trip. I'm absolutely disgusted with the treatment the first day the first operator blamed us when we were there an hour and half before pickup and then later were told it was due to weather and assured us we would be collected on the rescheduled day. The day comes and AGAIN NO COLLECTION. This time we are told our names were not on the list. They would not provide a transfer to meet the bus and so we have wasted 2 days of our trip of a lifetime as its too late to book anything else. I am awaiting a refund and hope this at least goes smoothly. I'm absolutely fuming. At all costs DO NOT BOOK this tour

Great tour! Very unusual tour - driving out on the glacier was amazing. The guide in the tunnel was great - very fun and informative. Highly recommend the tour. The only downside was that it is a really long drive from Reykjavik - we made one stop to look at a waterfall and have lunch but the rest of the time was on the bus. Once we got to the tour - it was an hour to the tunnel in the special vehicle, hour in the tunnel and then an hour back - the rest of the time was on a the tour bus.

A unique experience. I loved all of it! Even the frigid cold and high winds were nothing compared to the awe of the drive to the glacier and the tunnel itself. My tip would be to make sure to use a flash for most photos in the cave.

Well documented failure to pick up, so tour was missed. This appears typical. Very nice people helped us work out a refund, but we'd rather have had our tour. Suggest going to bus station to avoid this issue

Pick up was well organised. Drive to base camp was long but our guide - Ingo made it interesting and funny. We stopped by two small waterfalls where you have time for lunch. After that change for big trucks and off you go into the glacier. Ice cave was beautiful and not that cold. Mind blowing experience and definitely one to do in Iceland.

I booked through Viator few days before and got confirmation the next day with the voucher link from the operator that did not work. Ticket on Viator mentioned pickup will be at 9:00 so I was in the hotel lobby at 8:40. The driver came earlier did not bother to check if I am there-receptionist confirmed- only option given is to drive 2 hrs via taxi $400 to join the tour at the next stop and adamantly refused to refund me. All my experience in Iceland was warm friendly and accommodating except for this one not recommended.

The hour spent in the glacier was interesting. It's about getting there. A long bus ride, a transfer for another 49 minutes in another bus to the base camp then the famous Monster truck that takes us to the tunnel. 30 minutes in the diesel fumes to arrive at the tunnel entrance with a heartache and headache. The guide was interesting. High cost for an average experience
