What are people saying about Iceland

Helgi is the Best!
We had the most insightful, fun and knowledgeable guide! Experiencing the Golden Circle with the Farm and Greenhouse was an incredible combination that helped us connect with the awe-inspiring nature. Helgi was an attentive, personable, hilarious and wonderfully nerdy guide (hello fellow Star Wars and Lord of the Rings fan!) who elevated our experience. His in-depth commentary, great recommendations and thoughtful answers livened the mood and made for an incredible time around Iceland’s breathtaking scenery. Thank you for an unforgettable day!

Great experience. Highly recommend
Lagoon experience was amazing.
Bius Tickets - we and the transport staff were however unclear where to get paper/device tickets transferred but bus staff and lagoon staff proved helpful. It was unclear what the correct bus company was, even with barcode in hand. Some improved instructions on the confirmation would be useful but regardless, of the hiccup, staff were lovely and very helpful, it was an amazing experience once we got there. It would have only been better if the bus operators weren’t confused by whose bus we should be on. The confirmation didn’t state the bus company and provide the correct references. Both bus drivers were very confused. Paperwork info needs broadening to include bus company details in case of issue. So please check with the operator before you leave and get written confirmation details . We wasted a good half an hour - 15 mins both ends, with people not knowing if we were there customers. This meant we kept getting moved from one bus to another by drivers. It was slightly embarrassing.

Snaefellnses Peninsula tour
An excellent tour of the peninsula. Tom was an excellent, friendly and knowledgeable driver and guide. We had more than adequate time at each stop - and of course it was a huge thrill to see Kirkufjell for me, being a Game of Thrones fan. Highly recommended.

Different perspective of Iceland
Transfer was smooth. Driver very impressive as we drove through a snowstorm and all you could see was white road and sky. Tour was really cool, I recommend taking the walking stick if you are going when its snowy. Thd guide was fantastic really funny and amazing sights and stories at one point all the loghts go out so be prepared if uou are taking younger children. Wrap up warm you are underground but temp is stable but like a fridge. Enjoyable tour

Magical
Overall this was a good adventure our guide was willing to go the extra mile to keep us comfortable during the cold temperature. He was very knowledgeable on all things Iceland and the Northern Lights. Picture came out very good even in the cloudy weather.

Once in a lifetime experience
We had an amazing experience!! I cannot believe how lucky we were. we saw the lights right above our spot! Mikaela was such a great guide, she was very knowledgeable and super friendly.
She even went the extra mile helping us with our drop-off; we didn’t know that there were no buses to the town we were staying in 20 minutes outside of Reykjavik, and we hadn’t rented a car. Mikaela was so kind and drove us home. we can’t thank her enough!!

Well-managed and informed
The driver and guide kept us on schedule and skillfully managed our group of 35. Our guide kept us informed with relevant information and history for each stop. They always let us know how long a certain hike or experience would take at each stop so we could manage our time well.

An absolute must do!
A truly incredible experience. This tour allowed us to see parts of Iceland that we would not have otherwise seen. Everything was perfectly timed and we never felt rushed. The bus is comfortable and our driver Thor and guide Lasma were the absolute best. Lasma gave interesting facts and stories along the way and made the trip one that we will never forget!

Travelling with a 2 year old on bus tours in Iceland
We are a couple from the UK with a two year old child. What you need to know is to get on the bus tours here the child needs to be two years old + and they need to have a car seat which we brought with us, as the request for a seat doesn’t translate to the bus turning up with one. No car seat, no bus tour. Bus stop 12 is also pandemonium first thing in the morning which is overwhelming however once we located the right bus things got better. Our tour guide was called Tom and he was friendly, welcoming and liked to have a bit of fun which certainly made the day lively! He warned us the tour was a long day, which we had already seen, and that lunch would be on the go, so if you want to budget a little bring food and snacks for the day with you, although he does stop first thing to let you pick bits up from a petrol station. The day is crammed with things to see and Tom tells tails along the way which is mixed with some upbeat lively music. He also takes relatively regular toilet stops for those like me who like to know there’s a rest room nearby!
I would recommend this guide and if you want to cram lots of things in this tour.

Knowledgeable and fun!
This experience was absolutely amazing. I traveled in a group of six including myself, and everyone was so warm and friendly.
Our guide was one of a kind. His lived experiences and intense knowledge of the history made experiencing the golden circle much more immersive than if I did the drive myself (he was also able to accurately predict when the geyser would go off and the best way to film!) . The secret lagoon of course makes this tour special compared to others.
I am so happy I ended up doing a tour. I would recommend any first-time visitors (especially during winter months) to do the circle guided and maybe self-drive next time during better weather.

Top tour
Excellent schedule. Justin managed to fit so much into the tour without us feeling rushed. It was all really well judged and organised. We enjoyed the commentary - just the right blend of entertaining and informative. The bus was comfortable and the sights we saw were all spectacular.

Amazing experience, one of my bucket list
Despite the weather was not the best, the experience itself left me wordless, we saw minke whale and humpback whales, the guide was very professional, explained a lot about them. She knew not only about whales but also how to handle people with a sea sick on the board.
