This tour was exceptional. Alice our guide was very knowledgeable and made it so enjoyable. The wine and food were terrific. We thought we would need dinner after this tour but we were completely full. Also we had one gluten free member and one non drinker with us. Both were easily accommodated. The gluten free options were delicious. A great activity!!

Not your usual tour, as we walked the guide (sorry can’t remember his name) told us stories of the Medici family dating back to the 14th century to current times. He has a background in food and knows so much about food in Florence. He made our tour really fun and took us to amazing local places and we tried great food. This tour was a great way to start our time in Florence. Our tour guide, Raffaello, was raised in Florence and was an expert on Renaissance art and history. He was a wonderful teacher and we really enjoyed both his facts and his personal stories of growing up in Florence. Thank you to the tour company for finding this tour guide and accommodating our schedule and wishes after the original tour guide cancelled for a last minute emergency. Katerina was an engaging and knowledgeable guide. We only had a day to spend in Florence--we did the Duomo on our own, then had a great walk through the squares, over the Arno, back across the Ponte Vecchio and ending with David at the Accademie. With limited time-- a great guide is a must, and Katerina was the best.

Very informative tour.

Lovely two hour tour with delightful tour guide. The tour was with an English speaking guide. Lots of history of the buildings in Florence and the people who built them. The tour guide very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Two hours slipped by. The cost of the tour was £5, but you reward the Tour Guide separately at the end of the tour based on what you feel is appropriate. We gave 20 euros (two of us). Well worth the money. The Tour Guide also offered a "Darker Side of Florence" tour which we would have booked with her but we had to return home.

Excellent tour, would highly recommend. Had a private tour around the highlights of Florence as only myself & my mother were booked onto the tour. Our guide Eleonora was great, made the tour a pleasure to be on. She was very knowledgeable about everything she showed us & was happy to answer questions or give us more time to look at things if we wanted. A one-of-a-kind day in Florence

Martina emailed me ahead of time and we planned how to spend the six hour private tour. I think that was the key to the success of the day. We visited her side of Florence, enjoyed the outdoor markets, gardens and specialty stores for art. We went to an amazing place for lunch and later, stopped a wine bar. All this afforded Martina time to share her city with me. I felt like I was not a tourist but visiting with a friend. I have been to Florence before and done all the major sites. This was a unique day that I will never forget.
