This allows you to enter the Accademia and see David even last minute. Read the instructions you get on WhatsApp super closely and get to the meeting point really early. Note that you will still have to wait in another line in front of the museum itself based on your strict time slot.
It took 45 minutes to get in with a skip the line ticket, nit worth it. Why bother to pay for a speedy process. Entrance is static and the people at the gates were nasty

Our guide was a no-show. I kept receiving emails and texts telling me to be on time and at what location and who to look for. No one showed up. There were not even other people waiting . We knew something was wrong. Finally, another guide from another agency came to us and said we could come with them. SHE was great. Not so great on the person who was supposed to be our guide. The experience was very good - just not with this company
Martina was a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Seeing David up close cannot be understated.
This was definitely the way to go about getting in to the museum! There are a ton of long lines as you wait for your time to get in, but with this, we really did get in right away. Just make sure you arrive a little early to find your person who has your tickets and will take you in.
To whom it may concern at British Aireays and Vueling,
First, I thought I had booked on British Airways, not Vueling. I had a flight booked from Florence to London yesterday when a thunderstorm delayed boarding for over 2 hours.
I am 72 years old. I had to wait 2+ hours fitting on the floor as there were not enough chairs in the waiting area. (I originally had a seat, but gave my seat to a women older than I who had been standing for a long time.)
When we were finally in flight, I wasn't even asked if I needed a cup of water during the flight. The customers paying for drinks were quickly being served.
The women next to me said “why haven't they offered you anything?!”
I finally asked for some water and the stewardess seemed put out. This was after 2 -3 hours sitting on the floor, then 2 hours in the plane. This is not the type of service I expect from British Airways, and I am not generally a complainer.

Probably didn’t need to buy skip the line because it wasn’t super busy anyways but it was easy to find them and retrieve the tickets
A glitch happened when we booked and the system booked us for a nonrefundable date that was not during our planned trip dates. Neither Viator nor the trip organizer has responded with a solution to a problem that THEIR SYSTEM created. Viator just keeps saying the trip organizer will respond and we still haven’t been contacted. They just took our $150 and ran. Do not book.
This needs to be on everyone’s list in Florence! The artwork was incredible and seeing the David statue up close was so impressive!
Company did not meet us at the designated meeting area to provide our entry tickets, despite repeatedly emailing us about being on time. We called with no answer. Another tour company contacted them and ended up giving us tickets from their own company so we could still get in.
Grabbed tickets ahead of reservation then had a window of 30 min to enter. Super easy. And the other tour operators helped us find the right guy to get our tickets.
We got stuck in traffic. I sent a message telling the tour operator that we would be a few minutes late. The tour operator was able to give us a slightly later entry time into Accademia to see David, which we were extremely thankful for. The tour operator was in the area where they said they would be. The tour operator exchanged the voucher for the tickets. We waited only a few minutes to enter the museum. It worked very well.
It was very good. Definitely do the skip the line anytime that it is available. Our tour guy did a great job. I enjoy the fact that we have plenty of time to walk around to look at things ourselves as well.
Unfortunately we did not get to enjoy this museum because the ticket broker did not show up. Other groups with the same voucher received texts that their reservation was delayed. We did.not. We called the number provided by Viator and after multiple attempts they said the museum cancelled our reservation. However, the brokers with other agencies were having no issues honoring their reservations. This company just didn’t show up. We were then told that we could get tickets at 3 or 5, but our cruise ship shuttle departed at 3:15. Which was why we reserved tickets for 12:00 noon. We had to change our plans, which led to us also missing Ufizzi. We thought we were being smart making arrangements through Viator, but the Viator commitment is only as good as the brokers they use..
I arrived 15 minutes early. I paid for skip the line at 11:00am. The tour guide was running behind and put us on the regular line at 11:15am. Not worth the money spent.
This is a good option if you want to just skip the line and explore the museum on your own. The host was easy to find but I wouldn’t say we were escorted in. After we received our tickets we had to figure out on our own what line to stand in and wasted some time asking around (it was a very hot day). Overall it was a good purchase. We just could have used a bit better communication.
Once I figured it out it was great. I do have to say I was very early but the person was there and I was able to get my tickets. Then go about my day until the time of our reservation for the Accademia Museum. We waited on line for probably 5 minutes tops. It June high season so this was great! BTW when picking up the tickets my daughter saw a friend from school who was waiting on the regular line outside the museum they didn’t budge the whole time we were picking up our tickets they must of gave up because we saw them a little while later sitting and having something to eat. They were planning to go back the next day after buying skip the line tickets too.
meet up spot was just randomly in the street next to the museum. you probably could just purchase official tickets for cheaper without needing this since the lines weren't really that long anyways. we went in the evening. pretty small museum but worth it to see the david statue

Good ticket option for front of the line access. But still a significant wait for entry. No tour guide included.
Worst experience ever!!! No one from the company showed up at the meeting point, we and the rest of the group did not receive any tickets from this tour company. Instead we received tickets from a guy with tickets who heard about our situation and had enough ticket for half of the group.
We believe this was a scam. We arrived at the designated meeting spot and were given a slip of paper to go stand in the line with everyone else. This was not a skip the line tour, it was general admission. The gentlemen did say that we "might" be able to join his private tour but then left us with the paper and never came back to us. We left the activity without attending, so we were not able to gain admission as promised.
DO NOT USE! VIATOR's operator in Florence, "Things to do in" NEVER SHOWED UP. We organized our whole day around our timed tickets to the Accademia only to have them ruined. Viator has taken no responsibility. We had to call our credit card company to get our refund.
We showed up to the meeting point described in the email, but the tour agent never arrived to give us our tickets. After discussing with a few other tourists who had the same instructions, it became clear that we would not be granted access to the museum since we could not get our tickets. Some individuals who were waiting said that they received some kind of notice that the tickets for this experience had been cancelled last minute, but I didn’t receive any notice.
Extremely disappointing experience, currently in contact with customer support to get a refund. Will update this review if they actually go ahead with the refund. As of now I spent over 100$ for absolutely nothing.
Our tour was canceled 45 minutes before scheduled start time, and we did not get notified. This was very, very disappointing.
No waiting in line at all. Very quick to get my ticket and gain entrance. Easy to find the meeting point.
I was super pleased with the friendliness of the staff. I had some issues with the time and they were accommodating and communicative. The museum itself blew past my expectations. The lines can be confusing to get in so it’s helpful to have this ticket and someone to point you in the right direction.
Never got to do it should be reimbursed we did not need to skip a line There was not not do it at all
It was wonderful. Guide was fun. Wineries were like nothing I’ve experienced. And I live in Northern California!
