Auschwitz was hard. The choices moms had to make on whether to stay with their children or not really hit home. My children might be grown with their own families but I would do anything for them. The salt mines were very interesting. Thomas was a great driver. Samantha had the Salt Mines was very knowledgeable as well as Piotor at Auschwitz.

FAB-do it
Comfy shoes is a must. Be prepared to walk. Guides were knowledgable. Auschwitz / Birkenau and the salt mines is a long day but worthwhile doing all in one go. The packup was exceptional and fresh. Driver was professional but relaxed. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Worth the little extra to be on a guided tour and not having to wait and queue on entry. WARNING-likely to be early collection but again worth it to miss the crowds.

So worth it!! You will not be disappointed about any minute of this tour!
It starts early. Do not rely on the local taxis to get you there in time. Leave earlier than you need to. There is so much food you will be stuffed! The guide and driver are the best ever!! Julia and Roberta 💞 The information gained is next level informative. It’s worth every €

Highly Recommend!!
Claire was an absolutely fantastic host for our three hour food tour. We’ve done tours in other cities, and this was by far the best. The quantity of food provided was more than just a taste - platters of cured meats (more than we could all eat), pastas and glasses and glasses of wine - you will not go hungry or thirsty while walking around the old city of Bologna! One suggestion would be to add a stop specific to tasting parmigiano reggiano, similar to the one we did to taste balsamic vinegar. Other than that tweak to the tour, we highly recommend this as a way to get a taste of the region and get your bearings in this beautiful city!

Often hailed as the culinary capital of Italy, Bologna is also the dream for car enthusiasts. Bologna tours offer your stereotypical sightseeing and a behind-the-scenes look at the factories and farms that produce everything from Ferraris and Lamborghinis to balsamic vinegar and parmesan cheese. Fill your itinerary with museum visits, test drives, cooking classes, and tastings. Whether by foot, tongue, or US$250,000 sports car, Bologna tours are the best way to experience northern Italy.
