What are people saying about Bologna

A wonderful evening-do not miss this!
We had a great time with Stephania and Gabriele cooking and learning about the foods and drink we enjoyed. Made and ate our own pasta! Generous amounts of food and drink and relaxed atmosphere. Met some wonderful people who loved the experience as much as we did, including 2 couples who were starting their honeymoons in Bologna! Highly recommend and special thanks to Stephanie for creating the enjoyable experience.

A great day of food, culture, and history
Federico was AMAZING! Her knowledge of Bologna and the history of every food we tried was exceptional and extremely informative. The tour was perfect and the food remarkable. We’ve done many food tours in other countries. This one ranks high on the list.

Best activity for a weekend in Bologna
It was my birthday, and we decided to celebrate together by making our own Italian dinner. Our children (6, 8, and 11 years old) were involved too, and our chef/guide was the friendliest person with them. It was funny, comfortable, and delicious! Thank you :)

Highlight of our trip!
This was such an amazing experience for me and my family! From all the rave reviews on Viator, I had a feeling this would be an experience not to be missed so I booked this for my birthday, which fell during a family trip to Italy. My family and I are big fans of Italian food and wine, so it seemed right up our alley, and it definitely did not disappoint. The Italian breakfast (with wine!) and balsamic tastings was delicious, and it was really interesting to see how parmigiano reggiano cheese was made and the process of curing prosciutto. Tasting the different years of aged balsamic (while eating aged cheese) was such a great experience as well. And then lunch - SO much delicious food and the hospitality that came with it was unmatched. You can tell that everyone in the Italian Days team loves their jobs, genuinely wants to be there with each other and their guests and making connections, and wants to make sure that you have a great time. There is no pretense and it is really lovely and so rare these days to find that kind of genuineness. Food and wine was aplenty with lots of variety. And then came the entertainment with some karaoke by the staff and dancing, and it was just a joyous time all around. The staff were also very sweet to sing me a little happy birthday and to put a candle on the dessert (unbeknownst to me), and even gave me a little gift just before I left which was really nice of them (also not expected)! All in all, exceeded all of our expectations (even my dad who is tough to impress couldn't stop raving about this experience). This is one not to be missed, highly recommended! A big thank you to our wonderful new friends at Italian Days - Grazie Mille in particular to Julia, our guide for the day, and Roberta, who got us safely to each destination!

Often hailed as the culinary capital of Italy, Bologna is also the dream for car enthusiasts. Bologna tours offer your stereotypical sightseeing and a behind-the-scenes look at the factories and farms that produce everything from Ferraris and Lamborghinis to balsamic vinegar and parmesan cheese. Fill your itinerary with museum visits, test drives, cooking classes, and tastings. Whether by foot, tongue, or US$250,000 sports car, Bologna tours are the best way to experience northern Italy.
