Don't waste your money

Got to meet point 20 minutes early. Waited 30 minutes. No sign of guide. No people in area holding signs of indicating they were a guide. Checked and was 100% in the right place. Waited 30 minutes than another 30 minutes responding to emails saying the guide was trying to phone me. My phone didn't ring once. Complete let down. Only got 1 star because I can't give zero.

The tour company, My Tour in Italy, is not reputable and professional. My group arrived at the meeting location on-time and proceeded to find to group. The location is a statue in very large Square in the middle of the of Florence. But we still couldn't find the tour guide or group. They could have offered communication to the route, but no. They could have offered to reschedule, as I request, but no. They simply ceased all communication. They take your money and disappear. Bad rep for a beautiful city.

Our favorite tour!

Our guide was excellent! She explained all so well and was clearly passionate about her city. We felt included as if we were part its history. She presented a mix of knowledge and warmth for us as visitors. We took 4 tours while in Florence, but this walking tour was our favorite. A little disappointing

Unfortunately we were a little disapponted as we got no real overview over the citys history but rather a few quick lines to the most important buildings. Also the guide was talking while walking- which made it hard to follow faved with thousands of tourists in the street. Even free sights were not shown from the inside..... Also the english accent was not so good and no headphones. The guide was very nice though.

Our guide didn'r speak english well and it seemed he was always looking for words. He didn't have any aids so we could hear him better so a lot of what he said got lost in the background noise. His knowledge about Florence wasn't wide as I expected and he didn't provide an interesting tour and all we wanted is for the tour to be over.

Of all the tours I took in Italy, this was my least favorite. Unlike the other tours, we were not provided headsets. There were about 30 people on the tour and the guide had a microphone that amplified her voice. Considering we were walking through the noisy, crowded downtown area, my wife and I were only able to catch about 20 of what the guide actually said. On top this, the guide did not wait for the group and rushed from one site to the next.

You just never know what you'll get with a paid tour. Our tour guide was difficult to hear through her microphone. No one was really listening to her. She would keep us in the same spot for 15-20 min. You could tell she had a lot of information but her delivery was not very good.

This was a great tour! The tour guide Gulio I'm not sure if I have his name correct was very easy to understand and his stories about Florence history were interesting. This was the perfect amount of time for a walking tour and kept my attention the entire time, it was not too long or short. Because it is a shorter tour, you do not get to see all of Florence obviously, but it is a great introduction to the city and its history! I would recommend this tour.

Superb whistle stop tour of Florence's highlights. Meeting place was a little difficult to find the street has red and black numbers. Omar walked at a fast pace, but showed us everything we needed to see in 90 minutes. An excellent orientation tour or cruise ship visitors on a day visit. If I had longer, I would have booked a longer tour from this company
