Riccardo was excellent! Very knowledgeable about Florence and renaissance history. Great start to our days in Florence!
Chiara gave a fantastic tour that introduced us to Florence on our first day here. Her stories were engaging and easy to follow.
Wonderfully informative, able to customise to the crowd and their interests. A passionate tour of Florence - plus some great local tips and tricks
Great tour led by Chiara, very informative and lots or recommendations of what to do/eat/drink during our stay. Thanks
Very informative tour, consize but yet saturated with fascinating facts. Professionally presented by Khiara, who is a really good story teller, with good sense of humour, interactive, captured our attention for entire trip, left us excited and in love with Florence. Many many thanks
The guide was very well informed and articulate. The pace was pleasant Just remember your most comfortable shoes as 2 hours on uneven paving could be taxing or just find a restaurant to take the weight off your feet. Well worth it.
Have comfortable shoes as the road surfaces are not all smooth. Listen closely to the guide - they have a wealth of knowledge of the area and history. Our guide Micheal was fabulous.
It is a wonderful tour and should not be missed!! It is full of information, history, art and humor!! If you are lucky enough to get Glenda and you speak English you will understand everything interesting thing she shares during the tour!!
The information given was so interesting that I went back, the next day, to all the places we walked too just to absorb and understand fully the history shared.
I did this tour on my first morning in Florence and it was a great way to get your bearings and learn some of the history of Florence.
This tour was exceptional - Amanda is a brilliant guide and a true credit to your company! She speaks in English very clearly and very well and - due to the fact that she is evidently extremely knowledgeable - she delivers her stories and history lessons in a smooth, seamless and engaging manner. The tour itself took us through many beautiful parts of the city centre, as well as up and down some side streets we might not have found on our own. Whilst ambling along, Amanda gives a great overview of the Medici family, who they were, how they rose to power and how to now identify the many works of art and architecture they left behind and that is still so well-preserved today. Although you will not actually enter into any museums or exhibitions, this walking tour provides members with much inspiration for things to see and do with their time later on, and because of this it is the perfect choice as the very first thing one does when visiting Florence for the first time.
Our guide was so knowledgeable and helped us to learn so much about Florence! He was very engaging as well.
Wear good walking shoes!
Hears amazing stories all about Florence from an expert resident. He was very friendly and gave us lots of recos too!
The tour was exceptional. Our guide Riccardo was so enteratining and very informative, helping us to start mapping out the true Florence medieval historical lamdmarks. I recommend him wholeheartedly
An absolutely outstanding tour! Our guide Michele was exceptionally knowledgeable, made everyone feel at ease, and brought the history of Florence and de' Medici family to life with fascinating stories and insights. His enthusiasm, warmth, and genuine passion made the experience truly memorable, while his professionalism was second to none. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an engaging, informative, and unforgettable experience.
interesting and easy to understand, especially if you re a first time visitor, it covered the main highlights and some interesting anecdotes
Michelle is an Excellent tour guide . His way was very interesting and keeps you engaged. If I come back I will hire him for private tours
The tour guide was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the Medici family and their role in the profession of the Renaissance. It’s one thing to look at historical buildings; it’s another to hear the stories behind them- it really makes it all come alive. This isn’t a particularly long (in distance) walking tour- it’s 2 hours- you don’t cover a ton of ground- there’s quite a bit of standing- but he did a great job of finding shady areas to stop and talk.
Is ok. You have to wear headphones and the tech is very old/ doesn’t always work… which can be frustrating. This isn’t a private tour, should be clearer on description.
Great way to learn some history of the city. We did this tour on our first afternoon just to get our bearings. Good launching point for a couple days in this beautiful city!
Angela was a great tour guide. Easy to understand with humorous stories. Offered some local insights.
Our guide was helpful and friendly. We would have never been able to learn all of those intricacies on our own. Great for a family of four. We gave our tour guide a big tip.
Really informative, guide made sure everyone could hear and follow him and shared lots of historical facts, advising on how to help interpret meanings behind statues . Answered everyone’s questions, Very knowledgeable and helpful.
Chiara was very knowledgable and a true local to Florence. The tour was engaging and very interesting.
Fantastic experience! I learned more about Florence in 2 hours than I could have learned from reading books about it.
I find walking tours to be incredible. See so much and learn great things about the city before exploring on your own. Would highly recommend this to others.
Michele was a fantastic guide, very informative and a great storyteller- highly recommend. He gave us great food and bar tips too.
I would definitely do this walking tour. Amanda was really good and her English was easy to understand.
An easy stroll through Florence providing useful and essential background to the creation and development of this renaissance jewel. Some valuable hints as to how best to use the rest of our time.
Riccardo is Quite funny and knowledgeable. Started slow but spent extra time with the group. We enjoyed
