Learned a lot of interesting and macabre history of Florence that left my spine tingling! One of the places that was highlighted was the museum of the Innocents, a the former children's hospital which I ended up visiting the next day. Nice to get something different and also appreciated our guide's sense of humor. I would highly recommend this tour to experience the horror for yourself 😱

We loved everything about this tour. The guide was amazing, so knowledgeable and his style and interaction had us hooked from the minute the tour started until the very end.
Lots of great stories about the dark history of Florence with perfect pacing and insights.
It’s longer than advertised, and it’s dark, and some of the information most people weren’t interested in. The guide could have condensed the story into a little more than one hour-he was SO repetitive.
It’s ok but nothing special, a lot of the stories feel a bit tenuous and strung out, it feels like it drags on a bit
I did not read the fine print that this is a pay what you feel it is worth when the tour is over. The fee here covers the headset/earpiece you receive to listen to your guide. That being said we had a great tour with Glenda! I would highly recommend. She was a great story teller and had some good historical stories of betrayal.
First time we left a tour. Stories were not interesting to us and we had to focus very hard on what he was saying because he was difficult to understand. We decided we’d rather explore on our own

Really good evening learnt more about Florence than you could on your own. Really interesting and entertaining guide. Unbelievable value for money.
We were lucky enough to get a history teacher leading our group. He was very knowledgeable, but the speaker/mic situation took away from the ability to understand. Just stand close to the guide and listen without the earpiece.
Meeting point was easy to find, we'll arranged when you got there, you where placed into your language group, you where handed out audio systems which worked very well, a 10-15 minute talk before we went around florence and told about certain things that happened.

My family and I really enjoyed this tour! Guillermo was great and knowledgeable. We felt like we learned a lot about Florence without it seeming overwhelming or boring. Add in murder and ghosts, and what more could you want?

It was great to learn about the mysteries of Florence and it's rich cultural history. The tour helps you circulate the city with more confidence and become familiar with the location of different landmarks. I truly enjoyed the tour.

Antonio was very informative, so many gripping and gruesome stories through the whindy streets of Florence. Tails of love, betrayal and torment and especially during the cooler evening temperatures, perfecto!
Unique and interesting tour! The final story on the Monster of Florence is a bit heavy, so not appropriate for younger children. Otherwise, a great time!
Really well organised, very knowledgeable guide and such engaging stories! Whilst the tour is long, the time passes quickly and does not involve a lot of walking and you do stop at places and have the opportunity to sit down. Had a lovely evening - would highly recommend!

It was a great walk through the city learning a little history and some scary stories about the past. It was nice to walk the city streets without the crowds and in cooler weather.

The Dark Side of Florence tour was unique in that it took us to places we might not have known to explore. Our guide, Antonio, told us interesting stories; some sad, some scary and some heartwarming at various locations around the city. He did a great job keeping our large group together. We would recommend this tour if you want to hear some less known stories of Florence.
Awesome, must do in Florence. Very interesting and revealing factual stories told by a professional guide that does the more normal, boring historical tours by day. Must do!M
Really enjoyed this walking tour with Antonio. The spooky historical stories were a highlight — genuinely entertaining and memorable. I’d highly recommend it for anyone who wants to discover hidden gems and lesser-known spots you’d easily walk right past on your own.
Glenda was absolutely superb! Very knowledgeable and clear to understand. The tour was full of information - some history and a little bit of dark too - great and I'm pleased we did it.
I would have given 5 stars because the guide was very good, however there were many issues with the audio system that made it hard to hear. The information we were able to hear was interesting.
The tour was very interesting and gave a different perspective of history. Our guide, Guillermo, was knowledgeable and entertaining. We enjoyed our time learning about Florence and the historical events of the dark side.

It’s hard to leave a review because there was equipment malfunction with the headphones. Our tour guide, Glinda, was great and did her best to try and make sure everyone could hear her.
