Beautiful day trip

We traveled with Marika and Constantino and it was great! Marika had a lot of history to share to make the time go by on the bus rides. For the stops, she had recommendations for what to see and where to go or not go for food. Lake Como is beautiful and the boat ride was nice. It is a little expensive but this was a nice excursion. Each stop is a few hours but time goes by quickly so have a plan if there is anything you want to see.

Great Experience

My fiance and I loved this day trip. Despite the sweltering hot weather in August, the views were majestic and our tour guide was very kind, helpful, positive. Antonella was our tour guide and was very excited and enthusiastic about showing us the history of the area. Como, Bellagio and Varenna are beautiful. The boat ride was nice. Bellagio and the boat tour ahead of are the best parts. Things to consider: bring sunscreen, a good hat, and water with you. The boat ride is 2 hrs long. Bellagio is majestic. Varenna is pretty but not as impressive as Bellagio. There isn’t much to do there; less shopping and cafe options than bellagio. Como is also great but we only had 40 min in the area. It has a lot of shopping and attractions (churches, shops, cafe and pasty shops, old buildings, etc ) to warrant 2 hrs stay.

We had an absolutely fantastic time on our private wooden speedboat tour of Lake Como! It was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Seeing Lake Como from the water is spectacular, and the beautiful wooden boat made the experience even more special. The scenery was breathtaking, the ride was relaxing and fun, and it was a wonderful way to see the towns, villas and mountains surrounding the lake. Our boat driver Alessandro was excellent. Very good boating skills. Informative and humorous. Very knowledgeable about the mansions and hotels on Lake Como. The only negative was that the shore side experience was a bit disorganized and chaotic with many people and many different tour companies.

Perfect boat ride at a very good price.

You really get to see a lot of the lake, and travel a good ways up. They go all the way up to Clooney’s house and then a bit more before going back. I also thought the audio with ear piece was just fine and gave some good information. I am thankful that I didn’t rent a private boat to ride or drive myself. The hour was perfect.

Highlight of our trip to Lake Como!

We booked a 3 hour private tour and the experience was the absolute highlight of our trip! Captain Alex made sure that everything was perfect - great communication before the tour, we got to see so many beautiful places, Alex made sure we had amazing pictures, great music throughout the afternoon, and a quick stop for the BEST gelato.
