It was great to see the town’s that was on the itinerary. The only thing I would add is if we had an extra 15 minutes in each place would’ve been perfect. The other thing is in Pisa, my kids climbed the leaning tower and took a couple of pictures and then we went to the cathedral for maybe 10 minutes. We were rushing to get back to the meeting spot and we’re still five minutes late. An extra 15 or 20 minutes in Pisa would be ideal because if they’re older people they would have a hard time doing everything in the time frame that we were given. If my husband and I were going to climb the tower, we would not have made back in time. We would have been much later.

Many thanks to Barbara and team for a wonderful day exploring the Tuscany region in Italy. She was so polite, friendly and full of energy. Her knowledge was exceptional and she made the day very enjoyable. This tour is a great way to see the most of the area without having to do any organising yourself.

Barbara was a wonderful tour guide. Be warned, this is a very long day with half the time spent on the bus. It’s a good way to “check the boxes” of seeing Siena, San Gimingnano and Pisa. But afterwards, me and my sister (both 30 years old) and our mom were absolutely beat. Prepare to get at least 20k steps and spend about an hour at each destination.
We wished the tour could have just been to Siena and San Gimingnano. The trip to Pisa was 1hr 40 min there, and an hour 30 min back (nearly 3 hours in the bus to only be there for about an hour- and Pisa left much to be desired apart from getting the tower photo).
If we could do it again, we’d pick a tour that focused on one area (like Siena and San Gimingnano). It was just too long of a day.

It was a great day. Barbara and her team were incredible to spend the day with. She was so knowledgeable about all the places we visited. She was friendly and kind, but also made sure the trip stayed on schedule. The highlight of the trip was lunch at the winery with the most beautiful views of Tuscany. One man at the winery was a bit rude and abrasive, but the rest of the staff was friendly and kind.

The bus was an issue. It was described as having WiFi and air conditioning. There was no WiFi and the AC was marginal at best. We ended up delayed on our return due to an accident and the 11.5 hour “tour” was closer to a 13 hours. The lack of sufficient AC made it seem even longer.
Regarding the tour itself, the best part was the wine tasting and lunch at Agricola at Monteriggioni. Great wine, food and overall experience. A big surprise was San Gimignano.
Siena and Pisa were “ho-hum”. SG was beautiful in a 15th century way. While Tuscany is a very beautiful part of Italy we spent way too many hours on a bus with marginal AC and no WiFi. It was maybe 50% of the ride. That really was a deal breaker for me. The long winding road down to Pisa was another one. Bring the Dramamine for those at risk for motion sickness.

Great tour, it’s a lot for one day but the tour company and guides make it awesome with interesting information and clear logistics. Niccolo was our overall guide, very nice gentleman. Chiara was our guide in Siena and she was so knowledgeable and funny.

This was a scam!!! No communication. Not present at the meeting point. Another company communicated with us, but no reservation. Viator refuses to refund our money. With 6 people involved, this was a VERY expensive scam.
I have spent $$$$ with Viator, but never again. The help line continually hung up on me. We lost so much money and didn’t get to go one our tour.

Our tour was with Barbara and she was very informative and inclusive in all aspects. Barbara arranged accommodations as needed. Overall tour was great to be able to see the Tuscan side in one full day, although about 1-2 hours were spent in each location and the rest was travel but that is something to expect coming from Florence. I would definitely do this tour again! Be prepared to walk 20k steps.

This is a great tour. The tour guide was very knowledgable in the locations visited and the towns we drove by. The wine tasting was fun but the food was pretty average. Timing for everything went smoothly. We would have liked a bit more time in Siena and less time in Pisa but all in all was an excellent tour and well worth the money.

At one in the morning on a Friday, I thought I was booking the tour for Sunday. Immediately upon booking, I realized that I booked it for the same day, six hours later. I immediately called Viator got them on the phone, and emailed and texted the tour operator explaining that it was the wrong date and please change it to Sunday. I tour said they could do nothing because it was the same date, but that first thing in the morning I would hear from them because they were closed. The tour company reached out to me after 9 AM, when the tour was meeting at 7 AM,. They said “ we can’t change the date, and ,no refund will be given.” !!!!
I wasted over $200 in a matter of minutes. An honest mistake, which I realized immediately. Horrible operator! Never again would I book anything with them. They were so robotic and unsympathetic and uninterested in helping me. Ignored my text and my follow up email. we were so disappointed. Do not book with them! And shame on Viator for not doing anything either. I have booked so many tours with them.

We are sorry to read this review. However, it is clearly stated in our cancellation and refund policy that any changes can be made up to 24 hours prior to the tour date.
After this timeframe, cancellations can only be authorized in cases where the issue is attributable to the company, which was not the case here.

Did not explain you had to walk and walk to a bus in the rain. It was a fast pace and we had a hard time keeping up. Then they dropped us in the dark at the same parking lot!! Would have Done another tour if I had known we had to run all day.

We had Luciano the tour guide and luciano the driver both were good I was some what irritated that before we got on and off the coach there was at least 15mins walk to and from the coach not sure why they had to park so far away was conducive for such a large group especially navigating busy roads and small pavements.
Luciano was knowledgeable he translated in both English and Spanish however just needs to slow down it was a bit of a challenge understanding everything he said

Lots of walking, but worth it to see some of the sights. The tour guide was very talkative and walked the entire time on the bus and rushed us in between places. Nice sights to see, originally booked something else but ended up on this one because it was canceled last minute.

While this tour isn't misrepresented, it is not what most of use probably view as a Tuscany tour, e.g., beautiful visits at quaint villages and vineyards. Pisa was OK but not enough time to climb the leaning tower. The wine tasting was in a city not in the country. The guide walked too fast so some older tour members had difficulty keeping up.

Good expérience, the guide Barbara was very nice and knowledgeable about the history of Florence.
I took a ticket to visit the inside of Pise tower $20.00 and the bus arrived to late so I wasn't able to have the experience, I am very disappointed.

Barbara and her crew were amazing! She was funny and informative, our driver got us everywhere safely and definitely had some skills driving a big tour bus on the scary roads of Tuscany! The trip was a very long one but Barbara gave us information about the areas as we passed through them which helped pass the time. Our wine and lunch experience at the farm was beautiful and tasty. My group’s favorite was the time in San Gimignano, where we shopped and took in the scenery of the historic buildings. Siena and Pisa was nice as well. Overall we learned and saw a lot in just one short day! Worth the trip!

This was a great tour. Long but not tiring. The places were great, as well as the lunch served. Only suggestion would be to begin earlier or get back later and allow for a little more time in places like Siena, etc.

The guide we had for the majority of our trip was quite good and she was rather than knowledgeable. The Leaning Tower of Pisa was remarkable and the other stops just average. The food with the wine tasting left a lot to be desired. The guide we had in sienna was the worst guide I've ever had in my life. He was a pleasant man who needs to find another profession

I felt there was a lot of value in this tour. There was a ton to see and it was nice not having to plan my own itinerary. I think this was worth the money, we did a ton of walking! I live in a wine region and I felt the winery was a great experience, it was still fairly small compared with ones I've seen that cater to tour buses.

The tour guide was amazing. She was very impressive and was extremely thorough and patient in explaining each site and where we should visit or take pics when we got there. The winery was so fun and delicious and so happy we got to experience that.
We added the tickets to visit the tower of Pisa and was so happy we also go to experience that. We were the only ones on our tour that added that.
The other two sites were so fun to visit.
The only downside to the tour was that they combined groups which meant she had to repeat everything twice in English and Spanish. Bthe fact that she was so thorough with explaining everything it took a long time for her to explain in both languages.
The only reason why I give them a 4 stars is because of the fact they combined tours with 2 different languages. We all had to wait until she was done. It had to have been exhausting for her as well.
So if you book confirm it’s only in one Language.
